Course Curriculum Overview

1. Computer and coding was always my favourite thing from school 2. If I be honest, the curriculum doesn't actually help you for real world applications 3. Everyone joins b.tech with expectations of having a decent job , and for job exams aptitude test is mandatory and also coding, so college should teach us that from the 1st yr not in the last year

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 56000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

1. 56000 + 56000 2. Included in the above 3. Don't know about that 4. Swami Vivekanand scholarship College is not great, there's no good companies for placement, in 4th year there's no freaking classroom for CSE students

Campus Life

To be honest as a technical college, it should have been more focused on TECHFESTs and all but my college is more focused on supporting cultural fests , can't deny that which is also important but priority should have been given to TECHFESTs

Admission

Other than some other reason I choosed the college for 1. It is nearest private b.tech college from my home 2. It's under Maulana kalam azad University of technology so it was supposed to be one of the best

Faculty

1. Faculty student ratio 1:30 2. CSE hod is the best , we had as cse students 3. There are many , because they don't take care as much as needed 4. Exams are average, and number of exams are also average

Night Life

There's no such gym in college neither a great library, it just consists of some syllabus oriented books , and public area's no existence in my college, ota just some rooms and a main staircase , can't deny anything

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

placement is very good in this college many tech giants vist the campus such as google microsoft delloite apple tata steels, thhe average package is about 16 lpa highest is 80lpa approx 148 companes visted this year and total offer for cse is 157 out of 190

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

The curriculum under MAKAUT is quite comprehensive, which is one of the reasons I choose this course. With making the foundation strong in first year with subjects like maths, physics, chemistry and then the core subjects in the later years. Reality of IIT KGP

Placement Experience:

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

MSIT KOLKATA COLLEGE REVIEW

I got this college by counselling as per my WBJEE rank. This was the best college I got according to my rank and was very good.
