Course Curriculum Overview

3

I had a kneen interest in learning economics, so after my +2 I decided to take economics in degree. Here I found economics is taught in a good way, I learned alot till now, its practical oriented only, still Iam learning also. Exams are hard only to score marks. Scores doesnt matter, knowledge matters.

Fees and Financial Aid

As Iam a UG student currently Iam in my UG final, I have been paying nearly 8000 per each semester. The fees includes reg., admission, lab, tution, caution, sports, medical, foundation, etc. My friends of other category pay different amount. I dont avail any scholarship here, still its available for all eligible students.

Campus Life

5

We celebrate all Indian festivals in the campus, most of the months we use to celebrate fest, fest, fest. Uni. itself will conduct common fest and each dept will conduct fest yearly once. Campus is High tech, with all advance items. Lot of groups are there, clubs are there, we can experience a lot being here.

Hostel Facilities

4

In room we have cots, fan, light, mosquite nets for windows, wifi in hostel, etc. Registration for hostel is very simple. Food will never be good, the contractor does it worst everytime. There are lot of pg in the city, you can stay there, its not that much costly, affordable only.

Admission

I thought to be in a new place having a green environment, silent and calm, so I choose this, found it better than others. I didnt reject other colleges Injust had this in my first choice and just came here after admission process got over. During the time of admission, cutoff were high to reach here, Still I cleared it nd entered here.

Faculty

4

The faculty student ratio is as usual. A total of 10 faculty are there in the whole dept. All are the best, the teach well, all are more experienced, we are happy to have them. Sessions are always engaged by them. We can learn a lot from them. Exams are like the usual setup of other colleges and universities. 2 internal and a final exam per semester. Cirriculum is rich enough to learn economic knowledge.

Night Life

3

There is a gym common for girls nd boys in the MP hall, other open gyms are there, sports are best, we use to have intercollege competition. We have 5 hostels for boys and another 5 for girls, really good to reside. Timing is different for both. Most of the roaming sites are in long distance from the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

- curriculum specially for BA is not like how you see in other universities it's a comprehensive curriculum where your also studying subject like AI learning, data analysis, regional languages and so much more it is a comprehensive course which is not only focusing on your major but also on an overall development of you as a student.. - well we are not only getting in-class lectures but we also have a internal component of internship every year which helps us get an experience of real world situations and job market. -There is one course called numbers we have that could be improved it basically talks about mathematical in economic applications numerical implications particularly which has not been given more thought on it could be more elaborated and structured well. - frequency is high and difficulty is moderate usually.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students arw given chances to take exams and get job opportunities from there. Field trips and internships, orientations, talk shows are organized to prepare students further before stepping out for jobs. They can either take the placements they get or opt for higher studies, which is what i am doing as a degree in psychology alone does not grant a wide scope in the jobs spectrum.

Remarks:

I liked the course provided by this college. The subjects are different for every semester and the aura is splendid. This college provides a very good faculty which not only is good at keeping up with academics, but also is great in keeping a good rapport with their students. There is a whole variety of extra curricular activities which brings out the core personality of every student. I for a fact, had stage fear. But after I chose MIC, I really started getting over it.
