Likes

i like the ambience and the supporting faculty of the college
many technical and non technical clubs are present in the college
labs are good and we get a very nice view from the college

Dislikes

my dislike about the college is that in rainy season the campus get flooded

Course Curriculum Overview

the course i am opting is computer science and engineering , it is overall a good streme to opt beacause of private sectors, subjects are good , teachers provide you study materials and question suggestions which help us a lot

it is a nice decent college for engineering, the faculties are nice, recently the placement seasion are not going good for the recession period but the overall placement of the college is good , nice campus ,nice facilities provided by college . overall a good experience

Campus Life

the campus life is not so great bcoz the campus is too small as compare to netaji and heritage , but the clubs are great , they are very happening always conducting seminars and fest which involves student into the college premises

Admission

firstly and the main thing is placement, the placement of this college is good, and this college lies under techno group , and makaut so the study experience is usually very exciting and interestiong .

Faculty

the faculty member are supportive , they guid you very well ,there are many 1O1 conversation held with the teacher so they know you well , they provide you good project which you go through and work on, and they also help us to upgrade our resume as well, overall they are very sweet

Night Life

the night life is not so great as this college doent have its own hostels or have a big campus but outside that ,it city of joy so night life of kolkata is always grest and happening, overall the there is no night life in the college but outside the college

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

placement is very good in this college many tech giants vist the campus such as google microsoft delloite apple tata steels, thhe average package is about 16 lpa highest is 80lpa approx 148 companes visted this year and total offer for cse is 157 out of 190

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

MSIT KOLKATA COLLEGE REVIEW

I got this college by counselling as per my WBJEE rank. This was the best college I got according to my rank and was very good.
