Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is more on theory side. Exams level are moderate. If you are regular in class you will perform very well in exams. The frequency of exams vary course to course as some have quizes, assignment, lab, minors and major.
Internships Opportunities
There is high competition for internship as not much company came for taking intern. One have to get a good cgpa and master any one skill to get internship. Internship experience also helped in placement
Placement Experience
Last year over 1,050 job offers were extended, including PPOs, with nearly 1,000 students securing unique roles. The institute also attracted over 50 international offers from around 20 global companies. Almost 45% students are placed in techinal sector.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure have tuition fees and facility charges provided in campus. Hostel accommodation and mess charges are also applied to hostlers. There are many scholarships opportunities. There is a decent campus placements.
Campus Life
IIT Delhi has a wide array of student-run clubs and societies that cater to diverse interests. These clubs are grouped under various student boards, such as the Cultural Board, Technical Board, and Sports Board.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are very good and well maintained. It makes you feel at home. i got a three-seater room and the room size is not as big for three people. But in new hostel students get two-seater. Mess is on the ground floor of the hostel.
Admission
I took admission in IIT delhi mainly because of its locality and its startup culture. But my first priority is IIT Bombay engineering physics. Although I did not get this because my rank was not good enough.
Faculty
Most of the faculties here have done PhD from foreign top universities and then pursues there career as a researcher here at IIT Delhi.The curriculum is heavily theoretical. The exam pattern is almost same like other courses and the difficulty level is moderate
Night Life
Nightlife at IIT Delhi is a mix of work, fun, and spending time with friends. The campus becomes active at night, giving students time to relax, talk, and do things they enjoy outside of studies. Many students stay up late to study or work on projects, and nights at IIT Delhi are lively and full of energy.
