The campus is good it’s a big place and student here are diverse
Good focus on extracurricular activities
Events and cultural celebrations are good or one of the best in nagpur

Dislikes

The faculty is shitty as our college is in Nagpur but the course is linked to Amravati University
Lack of attention on Amravati branch student
The process of teaching is sluggish the quality of classes is also bad

Course Curriculum Overview

The honestly don't prepare us for the real world experience teaching us about a microcontroller which is no longer in use, it's one thing to teach us about history but then at least teach us about current standards naaah they don't teaching us on online compilers when vs code is industry standard, at this point why bother teaching us ....

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 104000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The college have a common fees structure of 1 lake 4 thousand per year for 4 years so it's around 4.16L no scholarship is provided by the college And other than that we have to pay around 5k exam fees for every semester so around 40k for that total

Campus Life

As I am 3 years into this hole named gh Raisoni I can tell that the teaching is 10% and other activities is 90% be it be Diwali celebration makar Sankranthi or any other celebration like celebrity night mfs spend lakhs on celebrity to come and perform but can't upgrade their labs

Admission

GH RAISONI is a big name my brother attended this same college but in Nagpur branch so I thought the even though the university is different the quality of teaching would be same but that was not the case college other than gh Raisoni provide real world learning and focus on development and try something new but this gh Raisoni mfs just follow that old blueprint of teaching which is unacceptable

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is extremely bad the teacher can leave any time without completing course. Once we didn't have a faculty for entire semester he showed up 15 days before end sem this was unacceptable after spending mor than 1 L on this college

Night Life

There is no night life in this college no gyms cafe are open at night everything opens in the morning and library is only allowed during college working hours. Other than that night life in city is good many places to visit and explore but only for 3-4 months after that everything is same

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. We can get addmission in GHRCE nagpur by after taking JEE AND MHTCET exam. The cuttoff of each branch is different for civil 75% is required. GHRCE nagpur have it's own site from where we can know about all the addmission procedure also the details of reservation is provided on site. I found the addmission process very easy and simple.
