Course Curriculum Overview
the curriculum needs improvement. it focuses more on theoretical knowledge. there's no much practical connectivity and industrial connectivity for the students. the teaching methods are pretty much fine and helpful.
Internships Opportunities
companies include Siemens, Johnson Control, Hitachi and many other come for placements and internships. eligible students sit for the placements and crack accordingly. projects are done from the student's side and with the faculty's guidance.
Fees and Financial Aid
1st year fees: 1,50,000 2nd year fees: 1,50,000 3rd year fees: 1,75,000 4th year fees: 1,75,000 this amount is after getting 15,000 scholarship as a Karnataka resident fees increase after every 2 years
Campus Life
Overall experience is pretty much good. there are a lot of events and festivals happening almost each month of the academic year. different clubs for each aspects of the society. from technical to social, there are clubs for everything. students have variety of options. the infrastructure of the campus is also advanced and improved comparatively.
Admission
this college has it separate entrance exam and admission process. I didn't apply for many other colleges because their processes started late and this college was preferrably nearer to my residence. this college doesn't take any students based on KCET, COMEDK or any other such exams.
Faculty
Faculties are very approachable. They provide the right guidance and support to the students. For a single semester, there are 3 CIA (continous internal assessments), 1 end semester exam and 1 practical exam. the 1st and 3rd CIA is for 20 marks, 2nd is for 50 marks and the final end semester is directly for 100 marks. the practical exam is for 50 marks. all these are added and reduced down to a total of 100.
Night Life
the college has around 10 different canteens with different food options. i don't know much about hostels and hostel life, as I'm a day scholar. there are boys and girls hostel within and outside campus. there also is a gym inside the campus.
