Remarks

A very good college. Deserve to be no. One college of India as compared to others. Focuses on overall growth and development of the students. Every facility is thers in the college. Good infra, faculty , extra curriculas, placement oportunities , sports anf lots of fun in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

It's a really good UG course by delhi university. A kind of star for your CV. The exam structure is quite simple one and is similar for all the colleges of DU. Long questions are asked. Nothing objective.

Placement Experience

Best placements in the whole du is what the college offera to you , a numerous companies visiting the college. Very active placement cell. Also the college will provide you with internship opportunities. The average package is around 6-7 lakhs. I am in 1st year not been a part of any internship yet.

College Events

All socities have their oen fests. From jan to mid of march there is nothing in the college but fests of different societies. Bedt fest in DU and most probably in india crossroads is crazy. Along with that fests of Dramatics Society( histrionica), business conclave, sports committee , fic are also awesome

Fee Structure And Facilities

15000 per semester. Feasible. This means you will become an undergraduate in just 90000 Rs and there are scholarships as well. So quite feasible also because it is a govt. Organisation. Any other private institue charges over 300000 for the same

Fees and Financial Aid

There are numerous of them available. There are various oportunities of scholarship for the students and also loan facilitiea for students who are from financially weak backgrounds. Every year these are provided.

Campus Life

The college is best in india only because of the extracurricular activities in the college. There are a no. Of socities in teh college for personal growth and developme in the college. Every kind of socities are there like dramatics , fic , sports, marketing , dancing , singing and others.

Alumni/Alumna

Not met many of the amulni of the college but those whom I have confronted till now are in good position in life, with good income at respectable jobs in every field. They provide you lots of knowlege and are friendly. College organises many seminars of theirs as well.

Admission

You have to clear the cutoffs of the college from your 12th standard marks to get admission in the college. The cuts offs are really high and for general cateogary about 97.5 % which ia a big deal. You have to fill the form of du and if you clear the cut off of thee college thenn only you can visit and take admission

Faculty

College faculty is really good. Nice teacher but one or two are not that good. But keeping that aside overall the faculty is good, cooperative ,gentle listens to students and try to give their best to make their students learn good

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say that SEC and VAC, were added by the university to enhance students mind, but these subjects feel more like burden to the students. And also the theoretical and numerics being taught, are not relevant to todays world, as curiculum in the books is not upto date, The assignments pressure.. and sometimes the fear of getting low marks.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I choose this college because it is india best commerce college. It was my first preference and I got it. To take admission in this college you have to give cuet just after your 12th exams. You have to be pass in class 12th exams then you can give cuet. You can only give exams of subjects which you had in your class 12th. After giving exams , some universities release their admission form. You have to fill that form if you want to take admission. As you move ahead with their admission process you have to clear their cutoffs. For bcom hons in srcc the 2025 cutoff was 917/1000. For eco hons it was 910 for general category....Read More

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

So basically i had applied to almost all other colleges in DU, for example Hindu, Miranda, LSR etc. Even non DU colleges, for example St. Xaviers. I got in all of them. However SRCC being my first preferance finally became my destination. I chose it mainly because of the Brand value it has. Same reason that people choose IITs. I didnt really get a rejection from anywhere. Just IIM under IPMAT, and that was because i didnt study too well for the entrance. For the admission in this college, u need to clear an examination called CUET. Thats the only exam. Cut off for B.Com hon goes the highest in SRCC itself, being the most demanded college.
