Likes
- i did not like a lot of thing about the college only thing i like is that the attendance criteria isn't strict
- some faculties are pretty good and they have interest in what they teach
- Relevance of curriculum might not look great in starting but in 3rd year it starts getting relatable and usefull
Dislikes
- the infrastructure is literally nothing the new campus/official campus is still under construction
- Girls to boys ratio is negligible, there are like 10 girls in a batch of 180 people
- there is no as such campus life its a small campus with very less sports facilities
Course Curriculum Overview
The thing is that from senior years the curriculum becomes relevant its just that students dont take that very serious , some subjects have real world applications while others dont some are for pesonal development some are for technical development
Internships Opportunities
Intersnhips start in fourth year i am stil in third year so i dont have a lot idea about interships i recently heard Accenture came for hiring interns, else you can check on linked in of students as i said there is a little secret about placements and internships. i hears the internship procedure is really bad, very poor management.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible after 4th year, not the best in case of placements, from what i hear from seniors is that the placements are very bad yes you get a couple internship opportunities but not a lot fo good companies come for placement.The actual palcements stats are kind of hidden from students. The most and best packages are offcampus.
Fees and Financial Aid
College fee has to be payed per semester not yearly. Per semester fee is around 1 lakh it varies for even and odd semesters but on an average 95k can be said as final average fee per semester, there are not a lot of scholarships from college side however you can get help from banks or your state scholarship will be allowed also there is scholarship for SC ST students.
Campus Life
There is no such campus life not a lot of acutal clubs and their activites the annual sports fest was started the year i joined there was nothing before that. From then on there is annual sports fest that last barely 4-5 days inlcudig introduction and awards ceremony. the library is most closed and we didnt even know there was a library for a long time.
Hostel Facilities
There are attached bathrooms and toilet for most rooms and you get to chose whether you want attached bathroom or commons washrooms, the mess isnt the best but still it isnt the worst the food is pretty okay, loaclly there are some pgs or you can live in village nearby not a lot far
Admission
I took this college mostly for the fact that this was the closest to my hometown also it had computer science branch where others i qulaified for liek electrical or combined courses. i got admission from NIT Kurukshetra, BITS Pilani and IIIT Gwalior but i didnt get the courses i wanted. the admission process is simple you have to go thorugh JEE Mains.
Faculty
There are four exams per semester two mid sem exams of 15 marks and then practical exams including viva(internal), anf then the end smester exams for 50 marks, faculty are pretty friedly unless you offend them. a lot of students fail in some exams that are slightly tough
Interview Experience
NO there wasnt any interview i just had to clear jee mains and then it was just some jossa counselling and then when i reached college on day of admission it was just some basic paperwork that was to be done
Night Life
The gym is pretty basic inside college building, the canteen isnt anything special just basic stuff. hostel timings arent that strict neither is the warden so that a plus point if you have good relations with security guys you can pretty much go anytime its just that you can do nothing after leabing college you can go anywhere late night.
