Placement are awesome and number of students getting placement is good
Peer group as they all have cleared JEE MAINS so they all are intelligent and we don't have any state quota

Dislikes

Not a permanent Campus , thats one of the bad thing
Less functions are there in a semester so something it so boring.

Scope to get better and waiting for a permanent campus

Likes

Greens area nearby the institute and approachable
Good behavior, helping and polite nature of our seniors

Dislikes

Less events and clubs to participate and clubs are no very much active
Some teachers, especially of computer science are not keen to make efforts

Course Curriculum Overview:

The difficulty of exams is moderate. There are few subjects the we have to study by ourselves because of improper classes and attitude of some teachers ( For computer science ). The frequency and timing of exams are every 1.5 months

All about IIIT Sonepat (things that no one will tell you)

Likes

I am fresher (2024) so I don't know much about this college till now. But as of now campus is good. Not so big
Canteen is there, and classrooms have airconditioner.

Dislikes

This college is located in remote area, so you need to be in hostel everytime, if you want to go to market you need cab or auto rickshaw will would be costly.
There is no permanent campus. This college runs in SBIT (Sri Balwant Institute of Technology) campus.

Placement Experience:

Yes, IIIT Sonepat is good for placements. In the 2022-23 placement season, 78.79% of eligible students were placed with an average package of INR 16.51 LPA and the highest package of INR 52 LPA. The top recruiters at IIIT Sonepat include Amazon, Jio, Woovly, Deloitte, Juspay, and Yamaha.

honest review about iiit sonepat

The thing i liked about the college is its academic curriculum
friendly nature in the college is another thing i liked about the institute

Dislikes

its does not have its own campus yet ,its is running in transit campus
there is no such fest culture in the college due to its transit campus

Placement Experience:

students are eligible after 5th semester for campus placements ,there are many companies visited like amazon ,yamaha,infosys,tcs flipkart etc and made around 300 offers .highest package offered is 56 lac per yr,and min package is 6 lac per annum ,about 85 % students got the pklacement in the college , i will appear for the placement after the degree.

The college was nice but no perment campus but it's ok to live there but the food for South Indian students is very bad so we have better opportunity to go to other colleges if any one have health issues better not to join here in this college
For your bright future and save your lives from iiit sonepat it is very thof for you

Food is very bad and no perment CPUs is there for iiit sonepat
Make sure you should pay more free here and it's not under pure government

Placement Experience:

There is very low possiblety for palssments so we should get it our own risk the college will not plan to give any plascements. So the plan is completeing b tech. And going to abroad for higher education

Life at IIIT sonepat

Likes

The location of the college is in pretty decent area that is NCR which gives enough exposure towards companies.
Seniors are very helpful in both academics and social aspects .

Dislikes

Hostel fees is very high as compared to other iiits and government college
Like all other engineering colleges , the facilities are very average

Placement Experience:

Companies do visit our college and a student can grab campus placement if he/she is talented enough. A placement of 8-10 lpa is not tough to crack but again the placement rate is not much good and most high packages are cracked through off campus placements

IIIT SONEPAT EXPOSED

The original campus is in IIT DELHI Technopark , Good facilities there.
Sports fest is the only fest organised here from last 2 years

Dislikes

No cultural engagement here , no sports activity that much .
college run in Sbit campus in palri village , no wifi

Placement Experience:

onsite placement is 18 lpa but in reality it would be like 10 14 lpa . Most students got unplaced here .. less companies visit here . you have to go for off campus placments. Big company like amazon google no one comes here only small companies hier like tcs

Exploring IIIT Sonepat

Placement Experience:

Campus placement start taking place from 7 th semester onwards with big companies like Yamaha, TCS , Amazon, Flipkart, PayPal visiting the campus. Students also score high packages in off campus placements in Google , Amazon, Jio etc . Talking about last year placement records the highest package was about 52 lpa with average package of 16.51 lpa CSE and IT combined. More than 80% students get placed in their dream companies and this avg placement records keep getting high year by year.

College location close to NCR makes transportation easily accessible
Again beign in NCR it is close to a lot of delhi colleges ,and metro connectivity is a plus point , metro will soon be available in Sonepat too.

Dislikes

No campus, college currently runs on rented campus that have no basic facilities

The curriculum is well updated in IIITs especially in our college like in the first year in most of the college syllabus of all branches are same however here even the first year syllabus is focused on CSE, and the syllabus even includes DSA, Docker,Web dev, AI , ML and some other important topics.

IIIT Sonepat, yet to become emerging compare to others.

Placement Experience:

My college placement is decent with average package of 9lpa. 70 percent of student are placed in the college. Highest package is 45lpa. Companies like purple, yamaha, Amazon come in oir campus. My goal is to get a good package from the college.
