Review of IIIT Sonepat

The syllabus is up to date and the teaching methods is even through projecting screen in class.The ciriculum includes the subjects which are essential for a good placement.There are two semesters each year and in each semester there are three theory exams and one practical exam. The curiculam can contain optional subjects too which is not present in this college.

The coolege provides free internship oppurtunity in tie up with IIT Bhu. There are many companies like purple, yamaha etc. where students can work as an intern. The college provides a minor and a major project to ensure internship.

The campus has a good placement record over ghe years. A student of 7 and 8th sem is eligible for placement and there are many companies including amazon as recuiter. The median placement is of 12 lacs per annum and average salary is 16.5 lacs per annum.

A hostler pays 3.5 lacks per annum for the course and hostel include where 2 lacks are course fees and 1.5 lacks are hostel fees which includes mess. The tution fee does not increase remarkably. The college does not provide scholarship on its own but it supporst nsp scholarship for students who are obc,sc and st but not general.

The college organizes many technical fests and one sports fest with the name Agnito each year. The sports fest takes place in April whereas the technical fests keep taking place over the months. The course books are available in the library but other books and are not yet available since the library here is small. The classrooms are provided with A.C and projectors and is spacious. There are 6 to 7 clubs which are run by students and help in different aspects of life. There is a provision for a gorund for football and cricket, a badminton court, a volleyball court , a basket ball court , a table tennis table,chess, carrom and pool table for enjoyment.

The hostel has two person accomodation rooms. Each room contains a study table, two beds, two cupboards and a bathroom. There are drinking water taps in the hostel. The mess contains A.C and television. The menu of the mess can be changed and is according to the students demands. The meal contains proper balanced diet and is good. The hostel can be registered once here for document verification or can be booked online. There are two hostels one is inside the campus and the other is a kilometer away from the campus which has its transportation facility.

To take admission in this college the candidate needs to qualify jee mains and register themselves in JOSAA counselling to get a seat.For foreing students DASA is the counseling facility. There are reservations for category but not for female canditate. In a year there are four mid sems each of one hour paper two papers a day which lasts for 3 days. And 2 end sems which are for 3 hours a paper one paper a day and lasts for 2 weeks.The papers are easy and there are practical exams 2 times a year for 2 hours a paper and lasts for 1 week.

All the faculty members here are PHD grafuate and some even teach the students of NIT Delhi and has a fair amount of faculty members.The faculty members are helpful and friendly and even are ready to provide one on one guidance for proper learning of subject.The faculty members provide there personal contact number to interact through messages when reqired.
