The paper is very relevant and the need of the hour. We get an idea of various crimes happening around us and also an insight into the criminal law and procedure of the country. Papers also deal with the minds of criminals in the first semester. There are also papers on forensic investigation, juvenile justice, victimology etc

There is semester fees for the university where we have to pay fees for different semesters differently. It was around 20000 for the first semester and 3200 for the next semester. There are various scholarships available but none for diploma courses.

There are various festivities and celebrations happening here. Onam was celebrated for over a week. Election was another big fiasco here. Reading rooms are open till 3. Libraries till 8. You can access any books. Classes are supplied with Audio Visual facilities depending on departments. Physical education department is also very thriving and always competitive. There are also multiple student run clubs for students from all different states.

Hostel facilities are also great. Room for 3 with enough bed space and storage facility. There are number of hostels. People who get dorms are also allotted rooms later on. There are two messes for all the hostels. And the students have to go in an orderly manner. Fees is payed for 6 months first which comes around 19000. Food is okay. The Akkas come to clean the hostel premises everyday.

So I also applied for criminology and police administration in Sardar Patel university but I fell ill during the time of admission. Also the area is very hard to reach and the locomotive facilities are not that great over there. Climatic conditions are also bad compared to PU. Thus I finalised on PU for the same reasons. The eligibility criteria were same as PU. Entrance through CUET examination.

Our department consists of 4 faculties for each paper of each semester. Each semester includes 2 internals for 20 marks and 1 semester exam for 60 marks. Syllabus is very vast and intriguing. Faculties are also very engaging. The course also includes prison visit and autopsy demonstration.

The campus is active 24/7. Night life is very nice. Hostels are open 24/7. There is no restrictions. Just have to give your entry and exit details. All the shops opposite and nearby university are open till 12 and shops inside the campus aswell. Later that time too you can go to to PIMA if you feel like having a late night tea.
