Best college

Remarks :

It has one of the best crowd in Mumbai, the people are so smart and doesn't carry that attitude. Everyone stays low to the ground and your father's wealth doesn't matter here. Howsoever, teaching and studies isn't much good in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I honestly think it's fucked up, best college with oldest pattern of studies, doesn't benefit the student at all, it's more sort of suffocating for students. As it doesn't give much benefit and compulsory attendence does more harm thn ever.

Placement Experience :

Yes, it does and it is superb. Internships have a basic stipend that is usually 5000 for the travelling and food. Placements have their own class, best companies from all over the world comes for the drive like Google, Accenture.

College Events :

They are many events in college, intercollege events are celebrated almost all the year, participants get in touch with alot of people and make contacts. Even actors and well known people have visits to the college. Many of the famous celebrities are alumnis of the college so it makes them visit the college even more.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It is just worth the money, it has one of the best fee structure as it is a government college. The seminars and courses apart from the degrees are expensive. The canteen has one of the best foods, and the prices are okay. The taste is nice, hygiene level is up to the mark as well.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college fee isn't that high so never opted for any scholarships, however there are regular messages about the scholarships and help for needy ones at times. The coordinator is the one who can help anyone about the scholarships, however, they require additional exam for the same.

Campus Life :

They are great, sports are very trendy in college, and other activities like dance ,music are usually followed all over the college at whatever period it is. If you're good at any specific stream, college is going to make it worth spending the time for.

Alumni/Alumna :

They are very helpful at times , as they visit the college quite often, having in touch with your seniors tell you about your work more quickly then ever. Alumnis are almost none of our use as they only visit the college at their own work.

Admission :

Merit list came, and then few visits to the made me clear about the admission procedure. Needed alot of documents but my first visit at the college after the result came out made things alot better and after that my luck worked because my name wasn't on the list and i figured a way in to the college.

Faculty :

I think apart from my course they are superb.my course have very strict faculties which has a fixed pattern of doing things since years, same question answer patterns, not much knowledge beyond the books.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've had the opportunity to study in the Media and Communication department at our college, and I must say that the curriculum is well-designed and executed. The focus on practical-based learning allows us to gain hands-on experience, which is incredibly valuable. However, with so many options and courses, it can be overwhelming at times.

Admission:

I assumed that you must have read the degree name properly, It is new of its kind, as a student I used to know only about vocational training programs including ITI and plain degree courses such as B.Sc, B.com, etc but the real fact is they lack industry and practical orientedness. I appeared for JEE and followed that herd mentality, managed to crack Mains but lost the Advanced cutoff by 10 marks, luckily I managed to get into Government Engineering College Amravati (my hometown) in electrical engineering and I am all set for the next 4 years, and then comes Turning Point, I came to know about this course - B.Voc in BFSI the very next day after my all-India allotment is done. You guessed it right I have chosen the latter because). Students need not necessarily complete 3 three-year courses to avail degree, rather TISS-SVE (TISS School of Vocational Education) avails a diploma ( at the end of successful completion of the first year, an Advanced Diploma at the end of the second year, and a degree at the end of the third year). I wanted to do all except engineering, Many of my family members are engineers and hence I wanted to be in the finance domain. The course provides an internship for practical learning which helps to learn real-world problems better. I chose CIBMRD College because it is the one that provides this course
