Likes

The professors are highly qualified as some of them are the scholar of top iits
The atmosphere inside the University is brilliant.
The university is very near to delhi ncr which can increase its placement rate.

Dislikes

Since university is new so there is not much information is available about it
The less number of boys hostels in the campus.
There is no dedicated building for School of engineering and technology

Course Curriculum Overview

I am a student in department of electrical engineering. And the course curriculum is of moderate level as there are some additional skills trainings are also available as per the guidelines of aicte and ugc.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 65200 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are not as much as we expect. As there are internship in which we did not get any stipends. But yes the companies are like ntpc, coal india, ongc, delhi metro provide the internship to the students

Placement Experience

Since the college is new as it was inaugurated in 2016 though there is a training and placement cell in the college and they provide assistance in the placement. As last year there are companies like tcs and wipro visited and placed some brilliant students

Fees and Financial Aid

My complete one year fees is Rs.65200 including all other fees as like caution fees, lab fees, registration fees, and other charges except hostel charges. Several concession in fees are available for the students based on their caste as some of them are paying approx Rs.8500

Campus Life

Since it is not an iit or a nit thought the campus life is amazing there is a cultural fest of university, a new library building is under construction and there is gym with missing equipments, sports facilities is not good

Admission

I got this college through JOSSA and i chose this college over other colleges because of it's location and the less fees Yes i got rejection from so many nits and iiits as i got less percentile in jee mains. The admission is as per the guidelines of JOSSA and CSAB the cutoff is low like you can get this college at 87 percetile in jee mains

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is good as they are available for any students during the working hours. Since i am in first year so i didn't experience the lectures of every faculty but yes as my experience i think Dr. Amit Kumar faculty of Chemistry is the best faculty as he is so connecting to students. The exams are of moderate level, there are 3 sessionals and two end semester exams

Interview Experience

I did not face any group discussion, interview or written test for admission. The examination process is as per the guidelines described by the Jee mains and the admission process is completely based on JOSSA and CSAB counselling.

Night Life

There are many cafeteria in the campus. Nightlife is okay okay not as much good not bad. Since the university is located in a village are so the nearest market is Mahendragarh is about to 10km from campus. Delhi is near from here so you can easily go there.

Placement Experience:

Here, the students of the final year are eligible for placements in there respective departments. Basicly many companies visit my college surroundings us which include Wipro, infosis, solatier etc. At least 50 companies visit my college. The highest placement was 22 lpa at Google ang average package is 10 lpa in solatire and other companies . almost 70 percent students get college placement rest apply for off campus and after sometime they also try to fetch jobs. I maily like corporate a lot , so after completing my degree i want to regain a job in any company in gurgaon.

Profitable for new student for choosing their dream college

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students applicable for placement. Highest placement of second last year is 52 lakh per annum and average 16 lakh. In case no campus placement I have family support in some companies. Approximately 70 percentage students placed.

From the seventh semester students are eligible for placements, average package must be around 6 lpa and for my branch this year it is 12 lpa which has increased shockingly as it was decreasing from the past 7-8 years

Course Curriculum Overview:

Special aspects is it has coding and it is related to technology. It prepares us very good for industries and further academic pursuits. Suggested area of improvement is in c++ coding class they teach us only theory not coding. Exams happens in every 2 months.

My college is the best.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency and timings of exam are not so big problem. In one semester there are 2 sessional exams and one end semester exams are taken at the end of the semester. And papers made are not so difficult.

About NIFTEM from my eyes

Placement Experience:

Placements rate is obviously not 100% but we do get companies and out of 150 students only 110 actually sit in the placement cycle and out of these about 70 students do get placed in good companies. The companies that visit consist of mondelez, Adani wilmar, zomato hyper pure, haldiram, loykaa, jubilent, baker's dozen, Lt foods,etc. The highest package goes up to 15 lakhs and average package is around 6-7 lakhs per annum.

It's nice and college is good

Placement Experience:

The placement here is good. Mostly companies arrive in our college to induct students. At the last skill matters. Last year Microsoft came and gave 60 lakh. Student of civil. So in the end we have to learn to code.

My Journey at NIFTEM

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are done in the final year. In the 7th semester, students have to go for a semester-long industrial training. Some students are offered pre-placement offers, and some sit for the placement process. The highest packages have gone upto 8 LPA-10 LPA, in quality/supply chain/management related roles. More than 10-15 companies visit, and almost all of the students get placed. I personally would like to go for higher studies.

Roadmap to CUH

I applied to DU and even in BHU and also got selected in both but the problem was with hostel facilities as i cant afford to get into a pg also other reason to choose this collage is this course i am doing is worth it to choose CUH over DU and BHU. I had around 93%ile in JEE, ~4K rank in TS-EAMCET and, 2.5K rank in AP-EAMCET (general category Telangana Homestate), and I also got into Manipal,VIT & SRM (all CS branches), I landed decent colleges with CS branches, but in the end I was gonna choose B.Tech in IT in Andhra University, But I decided to choose Central University of Haryana as I wanted exposure of North India and the culture here. Plus it's a government university (as govt unis are highly valued in India) and the fees is very low 30k INR/semester in tuition fee is very affordable, even Andhra University was good, but I wanted a cultural shift to be able to know the world better. Most Engineering admissions only require you to have best JEE mains and advanced test scores, they don't need anything else, no extra-curriculars, nothing, so you've gotta be the best rat in this artificial rat race to make it into best colleges....Read More
