Course Curriculum Overview

Mechanical engineering is a good branch. Its curriculum is quite easy. The timetable is not that much tough. We have 6 subjects per semester. The professors are very knowledgeable. They teach us with there with full potential.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship is also provided. Many seniors got preplacement through internships. We have an internship in our 8 sem. So we need to take one test and directly we get internship and placement. The company offers a good stipend.

Placement Experience

The placement here is good. Mostly companies arrive in our college to induct students. At the last skill matters. Last year Microsoft came and gave 60 lakh. Student of civil. So in the end we have to learn to code.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are divided into three categories- Income less than 1 lakh, tuition fee is zero Income. For more than 1 lakh and less than 5 lakh, tuition fees are 62500. Income more than 5 lakh, fees is 70000. Scholarships are also provided.

Campus Life

The life of NIT Kurukshetra is awesome. We have a fest at regular intervals. Soon college is going to organize Utkarsh (cultural fest). We have techsardha (technical fest). We invited a lot of celebrities to our college.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel life is best here. The food is quite good. We have a basketball court, and swimming pool here. The Wi-Fi speed is also good. The rent of the hostel is 6000 per semester. Regular cleaning is conducted in our room by sweepers.

Hostel Fee: INR 10000 per year

Admission

First of all, we have to crack JEE Mains to get admission to NIT. Then we have to take part in counselling throw jossa. Then finally we get admission in NIT. I got NIT kurukshrtra cse branch. NIT is a very good college.

Placement Experience:

Here, the students of the final year are eligible for placements in there respective departments. Basicly many companies visit my college surroundings us which include Wipro, infosis, solatier etc. At least 50 companies visit my college. The highest placement was 22 lpa at Google ang average package is 10 lpa in solatire and other companies . almost 70 percent students get college placement rest apply for off campus and after sometime they also try to fetch jobs. I maily like corporate a lot , so after completing my degree i want to regain a job in any company in gurgaon.

Profitable for new student for choosing their dream college

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students applicable for placement. Highest placement of second last year is 52 lakh per annum and average 16 lakh. In case no campus placement I have family support in some companies. Approximately 70 percentage students placed.

Special aspects is it has coding and it is related to technology. It prepares us very good for industries and further academic pursuits. Suggested area of improvement is in c++ coding class they teach us only theory not coding. Exams happens in every 2 months.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency and timings of exam are not so big problem. In one semester there are 2 sessional exams and one end semester exams are taken at the end of the semester. And papers made are not so difficult.

About NIFTEM from my eyes

Placement Experience:

Placements rate is obviously not 100% but we do get companies and out of 150 students only 110 actually sit in the placement cycle and out of these about 70 students do get placed in good companies. The companies that visit consist of mondelez, Adani wilmar, zomato hyper pure, haldiram, loykaa, jubilent, baker's dozen, Lt foods,etc. The highest package goes up to 15 lakhs and average package is around 6-7 lakhs per annum.

My Journey at NIFTEM

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are done in the final year. In the 7th semester, students have to go for a semester-long industrial training. Some students are offered pre-placement offers, and some sit for the placement process. The highest packages have gone upto 8 LPA-10 LPA, in quality/supply chain/management related roles. More than 10-15 companies visit, and almost all of the students get placed. I personally would like to go for higher studies.
