Course Curriculum Overview

4

I would rate the course curriculum as very good in terms of relevance and comprehensive. One of the key reasons i chose this Btech computer science program was the inclusion of core subjects like Data science, algorithm, o.s, DBMS etc. The curriculum has prepared me well for real-world applications, through a combination of theoretical understanding and practical lab sessions. Including more applications -based and open-ended questions would provide a more accurate assessment of a student's understanding and skills.

Placement Experience

4

Here, the students of the final year are eligible for placements in there respective departments. Basicly many companies visit my college surroundings us which include Wipro, infosis, solatier etc. At least 50 companies visit my college. The highest placement was 22 lpa at Google ang average package is 10 lpa in solatire and other companies . almost 70 percent students get college placement rest apply for off campus and after sometime they also try to fetch jobs. I maily like corporate a lot , so after completing my degree i want to regain a job in any company in gurgaon.

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay 90k per year which include 10 k as lab fees, 3 k as maintenance fees, 3k as development fees , 29 k as tution fees which is semesterly and 100 rupees for registration fees, 1k for admission fees. Sc , St , OBC students get scholarship of around 25k . And other departments fees is almost 5 or 10 k less then my course

Campus Life

5

My overall experience with the campus life has been good. The environment is friendly, and i 've made some great friends here. Students from different places study together, which makes it easy to connect and learn from each other. There are some student clubs , especially for CSE . I've taken oart in in a few coding event and workshops, which helped me learn new things and improve my skills.i do think the college could organise more activities and events to keep students more involved. The infrastructure is descent. The classroom and computer lab are well maintained, and the library is helpful for study material.but things like Wifi, hangouts, and modern study areas can be improved. Overall, the campus life is balanced- not very fancy, cbut it gives enough chances to learn , grow and enjoy college in a simple and supportive environment.

Admission

I chose Rao pahlad singh college for my B.Tech in CSE after careful consideration of several factors . One of the key aspect was the affordability and accessibility of the college compared to other private college. While i did apply to few govt . And top- tier private colleges, I couldn't secure addmission. In some of them due to either high cutoff , competitive entrance exam, or limited seat availability in my preffered branch . The addmission process at RPS was relatively straightforward and efficient.it include submitting academic records, entrance exam score and a counselling process where i could choose my preferred branch based on merit . The admission staff were helpful during the documentation and onboarding stages, which made the process smoother.

Faculty

5

The faculty ratio is 1:10 , faculty is very frank and caring towards the students. We can approach the faculty members at there cabinets any time. I like Gundeep Tanwar sir the most who is the HOD of my department, he is a person with a very different and dashing personality. We have to write 4 exams in a semester three are sessional and 1 is final university exam , all the exam are 70 percent easy and 30 percent moderate . Marking system is also at the behalf of students.

Night Life

4

Basicly , my college didn't allow to go out of campus but we can walk and play in the playgrounds any time , due to security purpose it has many strict rules i.e girls are not allowed to move down after 6 pm. Campus timing is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. same for hostel . My campus is surrounded by beautiful arawali hills which enhance its beauty and many palaces too to hangout . Gym apens for 2 hours in morning and 2 hours in evening , cafeteria open for full day along , Library is open as ler college timing . And other public areas remains open .

Placement sir for better as I have discussed their some companies visit like visa technologies Bajaj and Tata consultancies commonly known as TCS which provider like it to the heavier population of the college and provide average placement to cse students is 7 lpa and talking about max is 15 LPa Which is pretty good for on campus and off campus is unrestricted which goes far upto 30 lpa for the students who are seriously preparing for it. CSE department there are 90% over placement offers to the students and in other branches there must be 70 to 75% placement I want to become a successful software engineer in my life after completing my degree

see placements are only okay , and its the fate of mostly all the colleges in india, u just dont have to depend only on colleges for placements, u have to do hard work yourself, the course i did i.e. csd is is really good as it allows you ti switch between aiml and cse according to your interest and roadmap
