Very comprehensive and relevant course and the frequency and timing of exams are very perfect.Teaching method and curriculum is very effective followed with semester wise exams.Overall it's a very productive course

There are many clubs acting on different fronts for each departments and as a whole.These provide numerous opportunities for out performance.Campus life is moderate with limited interaction between students as campus is spread over a vast area

GEC Thrissur is famous for its academic and extra curricular excellence and it's campus scenery is very calm and suitable for social interaction.It also provides numerous opportunities for job assistance through placements

Faculty

Faculties are adequate for the students in the college.fro each subject we have faculties and the lab assistants.course structure is divided into well defined syllabus with clear cut subjects which can be easily understood by students

Night Life

Nightlife in GEC is very energetic vibrant and have a lot of funny interactive sessions between students.It is very enjoyable to spend nightlife in GEC due to its beautiful campus environment and pet friendly atmosphere.

IIIT KOTTAYAM - a Honest review

Placement Experience:

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

IIST - A good campus to live but with high restrictions.

The campus placement is there in the campus.A lot of companies visit to the campus. From this year more private companies are visiting because of the breaking of bond with ISRO due to which students are getting good package.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
