Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curriculum activities are held from time to time and exams and project are also taken in every 6 months which we called semesters. There are 6 semesters total that means every year 2 semesters and so for 3 years course there are 6 semesters. Some teachers delay the due date for taking project otherwise everything is going well in this college.

Internships Opportunities

2

Diloitte company is one of the top company bit students from Bcom doesn't get chance to select so that was kind of discrimination because there are some students who are better in studies as compare to students from other batch.

Placement Experience

3

Placements are available in college but those companies usually don't choose students from Bcom so after the college other students continue their CA studies. And some do Law and others do mainly MBA. And for now I am preparing for government jobs.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid 8000 for first year and 9000 for second year and 14000 approx for third year and Bcom contains of 3 years of course and this is my last year. Scholarships are available for SC/ST caste. SC/ST caste students pay less fees as compare to other caste students. But for a middle-lower class family can afford the course.

Campus Life

5

The main fest of the college held every year in December for 2 days. This year it is on 19th and 20th December. Campus is not that big but enough for everyone to enjoy. Various books and journals are available in college's libraries. Time to time various events are organised and sports tournaments specially for basketball, football and badminton are also organised.

Admission

Kelkar college has good values and image for everything related to studies, extra activities, sports and events. That's why I choose this college over other colleges I had applied at that time. And admission process is not that much complicated. List are out for those students who have applied for college and those students have to bring their 10th and 12th board results and other certificates related to birth and caste etc

Faculty

4

I only like my faculty because teachers and other members are supportive. Teachers are education and knowledgeable and has good teaching ideas. Specially Manoj sir and Adhere sir from Commerce are best teachers which always explain the importance of study and how to apply these knowledge and ideas in real life.

Interview Experience

3

Don't have much experience related to group discussion, and I have given interviews outside the college and my experience was quite good. And there is no such admission test for college admission in my college. Students got selected through their score or percentile.

Night Life

3

I don't have much experience of nightlife in college. The college get close in night. And I usually travel from my home to college. So there is not much to say about nightlife in college. The college got close after 9pm and after that all the doors and the whole college get shut.

The placement is the best in its segment. It ranges from 5-6 lakhs all the way upto 21-23 lakhs as per recent placement report of the college. The placement cell helps a lot in getting the placement for the students of the last sem that is 6th sem in most of the courses. Almost 30% students gets placed every year in various profiles like product management, investment banking, private equity, sales, marketing, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm a CS student, I have started this course as medium for my graduation for doing college. i barely go to college as being focused on my other course. But as far as I've seen the faculties must improve some aspects of the curriculum and have a great relationship with students, when the student is unable to speak in any internals the faculties must not only listen but sometimes correct them with a little push which might help them and complete there work
