The curriculum includes elective subjects for last yr students.they can choose according to their interest . The curriculum includes subjects like sustainable engineering, industrial safety engineering which provides real world applications. The curriculum should include more practical based subjects rather than theory oriented The exams will be there at the end of every semester.and there will be a 6 month gap between each sem ..

The college provides internship opportunities .ibm ,deltaX ,visdom etc are the companies that provides internship on the role of software developer, buisness analyst respectively . Selection will be on the bases of test and interview results .they are many companies associated with college

The college provides good placement packages and also provide placement training for students . almost 60+ companies associated with placement cell .the last yr students can apply for placements .the students having backlog are also elligable .60+ companys visited .some of the companies include TCS ,oracle ,Wipro ,anora ,j and j sourcing, cognizant,deltaX , L and T ,Shobha , MRF,LTI mindtree ,Infosys , Accenture etc . TCS 85 offers and Accenture 45 offers ,5+ offers were also provided by other companies.highest package is 25lpa while lovest is 3.5lpa and average of 4-5lpa .almost 50 percent students got placed .

The academic fees for a yr around 10k which is stated by government of Kerala .other fees like sem fees have to paid each and every year around 5k .the admission fees , registration fees ,pta fund , development fees ,lab fees need to be only pay once at the time of admission overall around 18k .fees vawier schemes for economically weaker sections and students facing financial difficulties.the college provides various scholarships like egrantz ,meric cumm need ,pragathii etc .

The college has different blocks for each and every course and every department has its own department library..other than a central library too . almost every technical and non technical books , general reading books are available there .also journels , magazines, articles are also available. The classrooms are well digitally oriented.each class rooms has lcd projecter . The tech fest and sports ,arts events are held every year .dyuthi is name of tech fest held at our college . Theres active students and aluminis club .IEEE ,iste ,sia active students teachers clubs are there

The room size is medium .the accomodation is for three . Bunk beds are provided.study area , waiting area etc are there . The hostel meel is nutritious and healthy . The hostel is very affordable and the registration is through Google form.selection will be based on various criteria and done by college authorities .theres also private hostels nearby than govt hostel

Gec T is the first college i applied for admission.the reason for choosing gec thrissur is because of its infrastructure, faculties .it has good placement opportunities The admission criteria is based on keam /jee entrance rank .

The faculty to student rantio is around 30percent .the faculties are very friendly and supportive .we can approach them at any working hours and they will help as much as possible. Our college includes best faculties like Lalgy sir ,bindhu miss ,jaisor sir etc . The course curriculum is relevant. Exams will be there on each sem .there will be 5/6 subjects and 2 labs . external lab examination will be there for lab .the difficulty level of exam is moderate .around 65 percent pass rate .

We have 24 hr campus means campus will be open. The department closses by 5pm .gym ,cafeteria ,library closes around 5 pm . Theres lot of hangout places inside and outside campus. cafeteria ,gym ,basketball court ,gallery are the places inside college .zoo ,measuem ,vadaknathan temple ,park etc are located nearby .
