Likes

Good exposure to industry and the level pf organisation of fest is amazing so that you enjoy along with get guest lectures from highly talented personalities.
Many clubs are there so that you can develop your co-curricular.
Everything is on time. Even after classes you have plenty of time for revision and your co-curricular

Dislikes

Hostel are filled up above the capacity it was built for
Large class size so that there is gap between profs and some students
High pace studies as the syllabus is huge and time is given less.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is good as per industry we have AI workshop and lecture in 2nd year course itself. But some of them might be outdated as I am a fresher I don't have much knowledge on that. But still a good syllabus.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 92000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

If you belong to general or OBC category and family annual income is more than 5 lakh per annum you have to pay full course fees and hostel fees. If you belong to general or OBC and your family income is between 1 to 5 lakh per annum then your tuition fees(course fees) will be waived off 2/3 of actual fees. And if you belong to any other category or family income is less than 1lakh per annum your full tuition fees will be waived off. You can also avail some scholarships arranged by alumnis.

Campus Life

There a mainly 4 fests Tech fest called Innovision, Multi Ethnical fest called Cosmopolitan, Roots and Sports fest Vriddhi. There are around 100 clubs in the college. There are 2 lecture Avenues one of them is fully installed with smart boards and projectors another one is having projectors and black board.

Admission

NIT Rourkela is one of the best NITs in the country and its also 16th rank Engineering college as per my rank I got NIT Rourkela and Campus life and all other things are quite good so I chose NIT Rourkela.

Faculty

1 is to 10 is faculty to student ratio. Faculties are approachable but it is not very easy. There are 4 exams in a academic year. There 2 semesters in a year and each semester have mid-sems and end sems. Still there are many internal tests which go on at regular intervals.

Night Life

There are a lots of places to roam around. Many private canteens are there. Gym is available in every hostel. Swimming pool is available as per timing. Central library is available. Last entry time in hostel is 12 o'clock at night.

Placement Experience:

The placement is good with highest package being 19 lpa from JP Morgan to lowest is 3 lpa the average package is around 5 lpa . Students are eligible for placement tests from 6 sem as pwc comes for their launchpad program in 6th sem only. Companies like accenture, tcs, Infosys, cognizant, PWC, JP Morgan visit our college. Majority students around 82 percent gets placed in these companies. My plan after college is to work for any of these companies.

Honest College Review

Placement Experience:

Stduents get eligible from 5th semester for placements peaking at 6th semester of the college. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Tiger Analytics etc came but big pacakge placements offers are low . The highest package was 32 LPA and the average goes to 5-6LPA. The percentage goes to 90 % for placements. After getting degree you can go for higher studies.

My Honest Experience at KIIT University B.Tech CSE

Placement Experience:

Placements at KIIT University for B.Tech CSE are decent and well structured, especially for students who prepare consistently. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester, although pre placement talks training sessions and internships start from the 5th or 6th semester. The university has a centralized placement cell that coordinates training aptitude tests mock interviews and company drives. Many reputed companies visit the campus every year including TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini Deloitte EY Mindtree LTI Bosch HP Amazon and a few product based startups. Mass recruiters make a large number of offers while product and service based companies offer selective roles. The average package for CSE students usually ranges between 4 to 5 LPA, while the highest package can go above 20 to 25 LPA in exceptional cases depending on the company and role such as software developer or data engineer. Around 75 to 85 percent of CSE students get placed through campus placements. Students who remain unplaced usually pursue higher studies startups off campus jobs or competitive exam preparation. Placement success largely depends on individual effort coding skills internships and communication ability. After completing my degree I plan to work in the software industry to gain practical experience and improve my technical skills. Alongside my job I also plan to upskill in advanced technologies and later consider higher studies or specialized roles depending on career growth.

An Honest Look at Life and Learning at CV Raman Global University

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

A Decent Experience

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIIT Bhubaneswar are generally good and improving, especially for students who stay consistent with coding, projects, and internships. In my college, students usually become eligible for campus placements from around the 7th semester (4th year), while many students start getting internship opportunities and pre-placement offers from the 5th–6th semester itself depending on skills. Every year, companies from the software and IT domain visit the campus for roles like Software Developer / SDE, QA, Analyst, Web Developer, and sometimes Data-related roles, and students also get offers through off-campus applications. Some of the common recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, along with product/startup opportunities depending on the year, and multiple students receive more than one offer as well. The highest package and average package vary every year and depend a lot on branch, performance, and market conditions, but overall the college provides decent placement support and training sessions like aptitude, DSA guidance, and interview preparation. The placement percentage is also fairly good for students who actively participate in the placement process, while the rest generally go for higher studies or off-campus roles. After completing my degree, my plan is to either secure a good software developer role through campus/off-campus and build experience, or if I feel more interested academically, I may prepare for higher studies or competitive exams along with improving my skills.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.

Campus placement i thik it's in your 4 year of engineering only i.e in your 6 semester. There is a lot of companies visited like jsw ,hindulgo and a lot to go . Jsw provides avg package of INR 12 LPA And it selected only 2 students only. I think girls get placement easily as compared to boys ... companies usually select more female candidates....I think I will go for job rather than doing masters degree.
