Entrance Preview

Karnataka common entrance examination and private by karnakata common entrance exam for medical engineering and dental conducted by unaided private engineering colleges and headed by RSST president. 50 % seats are reserved for karnataka domicile and 50 %rest of india.

Internships Opportunities

RV college of engineerinfg encourages students to apply for internship across various premier Institutes globally . Even student's are allowed overseas university/ research Institutes. Some of the biotechnology students undergoing internship at Biocon, Monsanto, etc but limited numbers.

Placement Experience

All most top MNC companies are visiting campus but maximum are in the IT/software's. Core companies are limited, Tata consulting services, Cognizant technology service, WiproInfosys, Accenture, Texas Instruments.

Fee structure ia very Feasible 35000/- for CET students it less than nursery kids fees.

Loan Available by kotak bank and scholarship for GATE PG students and also for exceptional students by RSST trust.

Campus Life

Gender ratio is female dominant. Hostel part for birthday and get together is usually done apart their one culture festival. No discrimination witu regard to religion, caste etc.

Alumni network is good and every year alumni meet will be conducted for promoting current students in their domains.Very notable alumni like PG r sindhia, Anil Kumble, hebbal BJP MLA jagdeesh kumar. Other more than 250 entrepreneurs are RVCE.

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th and 7th semester students are eligible gor campus placements. Students are asked to apply for the campus placements from the career development department of the college according to the marks. Some companies visited are like jspider, qspider, Xworkz, kodnest, Infosys, 3 q sutantra, toyota, triveni,idea infinity,edgeverve, eton ,dfm technology, tata elaxi, enventure and many more. And highest package in 8 to 12 LPA. The students are placed according to the companies requiments min 20 students are placed outof 50 students My plan is to get a good, high paying job after completing my graduation.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.
