Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya to study or not

There is very good facilities here as this is a central university. If further going in studies I can get help from faculties a lot. The curriculum is designed to clear the exams which are to be given further to get admission in PhD . They need no improvement in curriculum it is the best .The frequency of exams and the timing is great.

There are various national and international institutions which give internship opportunities to students of here. There is provision of allowing summer internship of students and students can do summer internship or internship here also. As for the regular departments many MNCs have given internships to students like Wipro, Dabur, TCS etc.

From 3rd semester students become eligible for placements. There are many placement drives happening in college each month. As there are engineering departments here so there are no lack of placement drives. I have plan to clear UGC net exam to get into lectureship.

There is semester wise fees structure where the odd semester fees is little bit high than the even semester. In our case we have to pay 7750 for 1st semester and 4750 for 2nd semester. There's nothing about reservation here in fees payment. There is reservation in admission process only. We get a large amount of scholarship from state and central schemes.

There are fests going on like each month. Every festival is celebrated. The library is a central library equipped with 500 pcs for students and like 400000 books . Sports infrastructure is great in the university like we have 2 grounds which are in the size of 2 football grounds .we have boxing badminton, tennis, basketball court we have yoga and meditation centre with indoor games equipped. There are different clubs for each and every activity in the university.

This is a central university with NAAC A++ ranking. For physics line this university has great professors with department having equipments like particle accelerator, afm, sem ,tem,XRD etc. I found these things better than other college and the syllabus is also not so heavy comparing to other universities. You have to clear CUET PG and UG exams to get admission in this university. The cutoffs are little bit high like 110 for physics general .

Faculty are very very great. There's a little bit politics in every department but it's everywhere now. The faculty to student ratio is good . I liked the professors here they have good experience in their fields.There are 2 semester exams every year and in each paper there is 2 class test exams of 15 and 8 marks and 7 marks exam as assignment or assessment. The curriculum is very relevant. Students get easily passed .

There are 3 large ponds and view point 2 temples . Coffee shops , canteen to hang out with friends. There is gym for both boys and girls. The cafeteria opens till night. There are 4 hostels for boys and 3 are under construction. There are 3 girl's hostel as of now and 2 are under construction. Campus timings are from morning 5 am to night 9 30 PM. There are malls and riverview points in the locality. The locality is safe for night roaming.
