Teaching staff is very polite and good. They help us a lot in our development
The canteens have fresh food at reasonable price

They do not allow us to use the life which can be an issue at times
The management was not so good at the starting of the college

Course Curriculum Overview

Actually I wanted to take psychology but I didn't get the seats so I took philosophy but then I realised philosophy is a very interesting subject and it reaches us a lot about the moral dilemmas that we face in our day to day life and how we should deal with it . Also, they give us a lot of time to write during our exam they give us 1 hr to write a 30 mark exam

Class Size: 9Course Fees: INR 16000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

It's a great college and it also has a lot of events n guest lectures which helps us in developing our skills. The campus is also huge. There are 4 canteens which have great food . Also there's a sports complex n a proper ground for every sport

Campus Life

There are many festivals held in the month of November and December such as hoonar and also all of the associations such as psy Phil association, natyadarpan, sports association, history association, etc have their own events held

Admission

I applied in Xavier's,jai hind n ruia too but I got my admission this kj Somaiya in the second list . The overall admission process was great for me . Most of the things were done online so we didn't have to go to the college all the time for the admission process

Faculty

There are 2 exams in the whole year . The exams are very easy but a lot of students who don't study fail to clear these exams. They teach us everything really well so we do not have much issues writing the exam if we have under everything

Night Life

There are 2 gyms ,one for the students and one for the students staying in the hostel there is 1 cafeteria known as maggi point and 4 canteens the campus timings are 7am to 5pm . The locality is pretty safe to roam around at night

A good college with good placements

Placement Experience:

The training and placement cell of the college is extremely good. K.J. Somaiya School of Arts and commerce

I was a student of KJ Somaiya College of Arts & Commerce. College is autonomus now and the exams paper are set by college & not university. Faculty is good. Campus is excellent. Once you leave the college, you will miss everything from lectures, 4 ways, maggi house, management canteen, IV etc. Management students do have placements in good companies.
