Course Curriculum Overview
The course syllabus is extremely relevant to todays world and includes topics that about ongoing situations and incidents. The course is comprehensive and prepares students to understand real life scenarios and how to perform under pressure
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee for FY is 7000 and due to college construction for SY is around 32000. I am not aware of any scholarships are available but I assume basic government scholarships are available for BPL students. As I am a arts student, there is no lab fee.
Campus Life
The campus life is extremely good as all students are kind and friendly, there is a very positive environment and cultural events are held all year round. Utsav Aarohan is the biggest event as it is a fest that lasts 5 days and includes a plethora of activities.
Admission
I did not get into St.Xavier's College due to the large percentage of quota reserved seats and because CISCE students had an unreasonable cut off of 97.2%. I chose this college as it is the best for my course and is close to home.
Faculty
Faculty members are passionate and put in a lot of efforts but the college is short staffed. We have 1 internal and one end sem exam for each semester along with compulsory co curricular activities and projects.
Interview Experience
No there were no group discussions or interviews or tests taken for the admission, the admission was solely based on the performance of the student in their 12th board exam, accordingly 3 lists were made for admission
Night Life
The college area is extremely safe and students usually hangout in the cafeteria or the restaurant right across the college called DP's. The area is very safe and peaceful so it is always fun to hang out at night and unwind.
