Course Curriculum Based on the department and the theory and the practical courses are concerned they are well on the same provided by the indian government and that is being taught on any other colleges like IITs. Curriculum is easier in my department so yeah it helps me to give me extra time. Teaching Methods : time for the courses can be reduced from 55 min to 40 min Frequency of exams : Held at 2 months gap, mid sems and end sems Difficulty - Moderate to hard.

Students at the 5 th semster of their Btech course do are able to get intership with company exlcusively coming here for them oncampus. Compaines : Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Atlassian, BNY ,IBM , visa , jsw ,etc

In NITR , above 90% students gets placed and in my department last year 96% students got placed and also the companies that come for recruitments consists of multi national companies and big corporation with average CTC of 12 lpa Placments drive run for 4th year btech students from there 7 th semester Compaies visted : Google, Apple, Microsoft, Adobe, Atlassian, Samsung, Qualcomm, Oracle, IBM, Maruti, etc. NO. of offers made were 1300 for students Highest package : 1.2 cr per annum Average package : 12.89 lpa Placement rate : 82.3% Plans after getting degree : I am highly invested in AI and ML enginnering so i want to get more learn about it and to get to any AI company .

Overall experipence with campus life is great and many fests are held across the students calender and every one is quite engulfed by the exposure they get. Annual fests - nitrutsav, Cosmopolitian held in January Technical fest - Innovision held in November Sport fest - Vriddhi held in January in library - books are available at any time and students can check if they are available or not on the offical library webiste. facilities inside classroom include all the modern equipments like smart boards and projectors for better study experience with air conditioned classrooms. Sports here having different clubs and is quite promoted. There are various clubs with different geeks and interest where students spend there time on.

Hostel Facilties : Ok here they do provide the basic facilties like water supply and electricity with one port lan in your room for internet connection. But the maintenance of it is quite poor also the internet is not that good here. Most the people here don't want to solve the problems for the stuents

As I qualified JEE Mains, so there were many NITs to choose from and I choosed this college due to its good infrastructure and college life that I included towards with the academic curriculum it provided. And all the resources like good library and basic necessity that it provides is better than any other colleges. I did have option to go to NIT Jameshedpur but I don't opted for it as it don't have that much resources as compared to NITR. Colleges I got rejected : So IITs were my dream but i was not able to qualify Advance exam so i was not eligible for admissions. Also I didn't got any interest from private colleges. College Admission Procedure in NITR : Admission is done through various exams like jee mains, thourgh dasa and other exams as well. Students are needed for doucments, and should comply with guidlines for smooth admission processing.

Faculty here are of top notch highly qualified from IITs and maintain decent 1:20 faculty to student ratio. Course Structure : In every semester students have 5 theory courses and 3 praticals with each semester having 18-20 credits. Exam Pattern : 30 marks for mid sem , 50 marks for end sem, and 20 for Teacher assisment for each course. Exam Schedule is held in a week where all the exams held in just a week. Marking schemes : Here the marks students get are absolute and no relative marking is entertained.

Night Life : Gyms are opened at moring and evening for all the residence ones and also the central gym as well Library : it is opened till 11 pm in weekdays and 9 pm on weekends. Public rooming is not allowed after 12 pm Hangout places = malls and also parks at the rourkela city. different restruants as well. Safety is well maintained here with no raagging and also every living here with any fear.
