My sincere opinion about my college

Since the KTU changed the carriculum from 2024 onwards and i'm a 2024 student, KTU decreased the portion when compared to the before batches. But i would suggest to increase the semester period, because teaching us the full portions and studying all of it seems impossible for many of us.

Since i'm a fresher, i exactly don't know the details about the internship. But many companies like TCS, VIPRO, EY, APOLLO comes to the college and gives many internship programes to the students. And many students are being part of it.

From the seventh semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placements. Companies like TCS, VIPRO, EY, APOLLO, etc are coming for placement opportunities. I'm hoping to be placed in my UG itself. If not I'm going for UG studies.

My year-wise fee in college for electronic and communication is approximately 1 lakh since i got the seat through merit. I also payed 31600 for one year bus fee for FISAT. My friends who joined through management pays approximately 1.5 lakhs and other friends who joined through NRI pays approximately 2 lakhs as the college fee.

FISAT celebrates many festivals. The big fest called BHARATHAM celebrated once every 2 year and many celebrities will come for the festival. FISAT celebrates every yearly festivals like Onam, Christmas, holy, etc. And other festivals like arise, signify celebrated every year for the freshers.

I only applied for some colleges and got selected for 2 of them. I got selected from Christ and FISAT but i joined in FISAT. I chose FISAT for many reasons. Better placement offers, Better reputation, better college facilities and all.

I exactly don't know the faculty-to-student ratio but all the faculty members are very kind, and very supportive towards us, students. We can approach them whenever we want and they won't hesitate to help us in any way.

FISAT got a big gym and got almost every gym equipments. FISAT got one of the largest libraries in Kerala and got 80000 books in there. FISAT has boys and girls hostel inside the college itself. Girls have to enter their hostel before 6 pm and boys have to enter their hostel before 8:30 pm
