food delivery systems across all the MAHE campus is run by automated systems.

Dislikes

placements, course feedback system and way of approaching students.
The campus life revolves around partying or studying.
The city is small and i keep coming across the people i dont appreciate.

Course Curriculum Overview

i personally love the avionics lab and the new aircraft which was installed for aerodynamics. The course is so nice but somehow the faculty dont make our eyes shine for it. The timings and everything is very flexible

Placement Experience

iam in my 5th semester so i dont really know about the placement system. i will see it in the 7th semester and also need to interact with some of my seniors in order to be able to fit in during the placements

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fees is 430000 per year which makes it about 1700000 for the whole course. The fees are taken in two installments for first year students and later as full. The scholarship are merit based and also follows many government regulated scholarships too.

Campus Life

We get to meet peopl from all over india and also tranfer students particularly from france and australia as the university is tied up with their university. social life is minimal but happening. Most of my time is spent at gaming centres.

Hostel Facilities

the general hostels are like any other hostel. but none of the hostel ever experiences any shortage or lack of hot water at all. the mess food is good only if it comes from the indian kitchen. NIH blocks are the NRI hostels which are extra clean and a little expensive.

Hostel Fee: INR 180000 per year

Admission

With respect to the ranking, MIT manipal was and is the top for aeronautical. I had a chance to apply to DSCE but the ragging history of the college and no special effort for that particular course made it less impressive

Faculty

Hate the faculty and they tend to take things personally. one of them is biased while the other keeps crying on linkedin. Most of the teacher who deserves a raise are outshined by professors who have had research history. we have exams every 3 months and studying for it is the only way out

Night Life

the city closes at 11:30 but the house parties keep it up. many students love hitting beaches at night and it isn't an issue till we drive safe to them. Bacchus is the go to in manipal where u will get the elite college drunk story definitely.

I would say academic wise. There is nothing much happening right now in first year, but then there are many events like hackathons happening where and we can participate and learn a lot even our first year and we have English film and Japanese film, which is basically a whole language club and there are a lot of activities happening such as debate and all, which is obviously helping us gain a lot of public speaking skills and confidence.

Manipal, Student Life You Do Not Want To Miss

I applied for PES and VIT besides manipal and was able to secure a seat in both of them but chose MIT over these colleges because it is more credible and from research provides better packages, courses and options.
