Course Curriculum Overview

4

Our course is totally based on New Education Policy (NEP), in that we have to select a another subject as General Elective (GE), if we continue this for 7 semesters then we get an minor degree in that subject. The curriculum is very good for a student which is very good for students for their future as subject like Skill Enhancement Course (SEC) which provide students their improvement in a specific skill. Exams are held frequently.

Internships Opportunities

3

As I am an first year student till now I have not provided any type of internship. But our college seniors tell us that a wide range of internship are provided like our official physics society astrophysics provide internship in departments like ISRO.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of our course Bsc Physics Hons is 19613, which is affordable as the quality the college provide. In my case I have not provided any type of scholarship or financial aid.The admission are fully based on marit cum.

Campus Life

5

The annual fest our college provide is mossac which would held in May month of every year. I have not experienced it till now as I am the fresher at the college. Our college library is very good it provides a video range of book. Each classroom has a projector installed in that. The sports complex of collage is very good it provides a wide range of games and gym. The society are also very active.

Admission

I have applied for all the north and south campus which provide BSC Physics Hons. I rejected from collage like Hindu, Hansraj because a did not score upto their cutoff numbers. The admission in our college is totally based on marit as the student scored in their CUET.

Faculty

5

In our course Bsc Physics Hons, our faculty members are very nice they are very helpful for the students. I liked Sachin sir because he is that type teacher which make us attentive throughout the lecture and motivates time to time. All the faculty members are very good none of them is like to be didn't liked. Our course is totally based on New Education Policy(NEP).There are two semesters in every year. Students have choice to exit from his course as his choice. The exams are moderate.

Night Life

2

The nightlife of college is not good because as the college has a lack of seats in hostel. All students live away in pg, hostels and flats. They are unable to meet their friends after the classes. There are not such hangout places in the college.

Placement Experience:

Gargi, like most other delhi colleges, has a standard placement cell. Students become eligible for placements from the 5th semester onwards, but most requirements happen during the final year. The companies that visit are primarily ed tech based ventures or marketing, HR firms and sales firms. A few that have collaborated over the year has been EY, Decathlon, Urban Company, Deloitte and so on. in terms of packages, the highest that had been around 15-17lpa, and the average package is 4-5lpa. About 20-30% of the batch gets placed during placement interviews while many try to pursue other opportunities or off-campus venues.

as the everyone know for computer science b tech is the best course but there is to much rush for b tech and i dont want to waste my college life or campus life on engenerring degree which dont give me placements thats why i choose for bsc hons cs in du to enjoy the campus life. if you study well in this course it will definately help vo in job interview making your resume good and skills better. the teaching method should be more practical than doing on notebooks or oraly. the datesheet and timings of exams are preety good and the difficulty of exam are moderate the ones who prepares will definately score good marks and can maintain better cgpa.

Placement Experience:

One can easily view the placement statistics of our college on their website. The placement cell of the college manages the placement process. On first glance, it appears impressive. But most of the placements are in similar fields of commerce like consulting or finance, followed by Arts and Science courses getting the least amount of placements. I personally have no faith in my course getting me any placement. So I'm preparing for government exams anyways.
