Likes

The infrastructure is overall good. Desks are quite comfortable and there is availability of projectors in every class as well.
Being a girls college, there is every facility for every girl that she needs. From sanitary vending machine to salon, i loved everything.
The teachers are quite friendly and cooperative as well.

Dislikes

There's nothing that i I didn't dislike about the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am pursuing english honors and this college is best for this course and i am thoroughly satisfied with my choice. The whole curriculum is best. The frequency and timings of exams are absolutely fine and not so difficult.

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities are there for many courses under my college. Many other projects are done in this. I have worked for 3 months under this with a good amount of stipend. So, that'll enhance my further years of study and give me exposure.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is quite less and not that expensive which one cannot afford. The annual fee for my course was around 25K including all the facilities and all the tution fee. The college is very good and environmentally friendly.

Campus Life

Many sort of fests and activities are held in my college. The biggest of all is Meraki fest that is for 3 days and different singers are called as well. Another one is youth fest and rest are all the festivals that are celebrated properly here.

Admission

I just applied in this college and fortunately, got admission here as well. I chose this college over others beacuse this college is best according to me for pursuing honours. For my course, i got admission on the basis of my 12th percentage.

Faculty

The relation between faculty and students is quite quite comforting. The professors make sure that students are not uncomfortable and they make you feel friendly. For every subject, there's dofferent different professors. Time to time exams are held.

Night Life

The locality is safe to roam around becaus eof the paroling of police. The gym is 24/7 in the hostel. The cafetarias and library are open till 7 pm which is quite fine and appropriate for me. There's a market around my college which makes it easy for us to hand out.

The Best Life of PGGC-11

Placement Experience:

Obviously the placements are offered in the final year but due to the NEP 2020. Various interships are provided to the students of even first year ones. Companies like Airtel, Amazon India, BYJU's, HCL, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, etc have offered placements to the students in their companies. The average package students can expect is around 2-3 lakhs per annum and the highest package would be around 10-15 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placements varies from 5-7% only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As of i know the ggdsd college of chandigarh is considered the best college in chandigarh, and their psychology program is really good and that's why i choose it. The curriculum prepares us in many ways, they organize different types of activities and they even tell us about interships and how to grab them. I don't think that the curriculum needs any type of improvement, it is quite good. I don't have any problem with the frequency and the timing of the exams and their difficulty is also on medium-hard level.
