Pros and cons of RVCE

The course curriculum gets updated every 4 years , currently is is not so relevant to real world skills but the college takes efforts to make it better . They add multiple extra classes such as yoga for physical well being

Multiple companies come for internships from blr and outside blr , with good offers around 50k a month multiple students get placed through college internships . The location of RVCE plays a big role in this

The placements are pretty good , for computer science related courses - avg =19Lpa Electrical related courses -avg =15Lpa And for other courses around 10Lpa Internships are also provided by the college in third year

RVCE has admission through Kcet , Comedk and managment Kcet fees is around 1.5L per year , Comedk fees is approx 2-3L per year and management fees varies between courses 68L for compsc, 50L for data science , Ise , AIML ,cyber security and around 20-30L for other courses . RVCE also has special quota for nris with fees of around 30L.Kcet and Comedk have separate quotas for sc/st ,OBC ,PWD etc. financial aid is given to students .

Campus is not too big and sports facilities are limited but the students are talented . The clubs are really good and have a lot of hype in the college . Multiple technical and cultural clubs are present

The placements in my college for the particular course played a role in my choice and also the location ( Bangalore ) is a big parameter over other colleges, most NITs are in small cities and only the top 5 have placements better than RVCE interms of computer and circuit Al vrancges

Most of the teachers have PHDS from the best colleges in the country , most have of them teach and well and are approachable . There are total of 4 exams per semester with various components including internal tests ,quiz's , project and semester end exams . Absolute cgpa is given .Rv is affiliated to Vtu and vtu 2022 scheme is followed , most subjects are doable whereas some are pretty hard

Admission is based only on scores in competitive exams no interview was taken for admission . Preparation for exam is same as any other competitive exam like jee etc. the exams are cet and Comedk mainly

Bangalore has multiple facilities for all types of people sports , football , badminton etc multiple food joints and restaurants.the metro station is right in front of the college so you can go anywhere you want
