Likes

Campus environment was very friendly in nature and faculty provide was very specialized faculty
mostly all the students get placed they try hard to get as much of companies to visit the college
and also infrastructure was very good with good nature

Dislikes

But the only thing was it doesn't have the own campus any how own campus was under construction

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum was good with per semester 2 mid semester with 40 marks and end semester 60 marks and syllabus was in time complete classes will be very spacious and easily understand in nature. But the exam were very tough to get more marks.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 270000 per year

Placement Experience

Coming to the placement section Placements was very easy to get placed if the student are well skilled in IT .Many companies visited like microsoft,byjus etc..,Highest package was 50L and the Average was 6L.Almost 80% of students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total Fee : 270000 including (Hostel Fee) For 4 years Upto the course completion Fee remain same. But For Reserved Category students like OBC,SC&ST students can claim their fee reimbursement though National Scholarship portal (NSP)

Campus Life

College not only with studies but also extra curricular activities like the conduct events like cultural , traditional day and game events and art events and for coders there will be coding competition.

Hostel Facilities

In hostel there are lockers and each room there are 4 members each with attached washroom and quality of food was awesome.But, for south people little hard to have that food.Registration fee and all fee paid at the time of admission.

Admission

Pune was the industralist area with more IT companies and also weather and environment was very well maintained and likely very cool area.I didn't get any rejection. I was directly applied to this college after getting selection of Jee mains

Faculty

Approx 5:100 Faculty to student ratio.Faculty was very friendly in nature and very supportive to the student. Dr.Nagendar Kushwa was the Electronic and communication Branch head of the department he was very proffesional in his department.

Night Life

Yes there was a gym facilities and also cafeteria and also cricket ground previously i said well maintained library Hostel was opened 24*7 we can hangout in garden area and restaurants and cafeterias

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. This College was on my top priority as It is in the city Pune . The Emerging IT city in India . As the Name is IIIT it also attracts me . At the time of Counselling i have filled Branches in ECE of NIT and CS of IIIT . Initially i was alloted IIIT Bhopal but inn the 5th round IIIT Pune was alloted . My Parent was happy as Pune is Nice city. My College Infrastructure is Good but not as expected. If we compare my College to Private than it is far Good and all the facilites are nice. Yeah we can say that we are new but we can say that we are not less than New NIts. For Entrance in IIIT Pune You need to qualify the JEE Main Exam with Good Percentile. My experience of iiit pune

I also applied to cse at IIIT jabalpur and allahbad, and chemical engineering at nit Warangal but I couldn't get a seat there. I was also getting ece in iiit jabalpur and cse in spit mumbai but I decided to take iiit pune cse over it.
