Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum evolves from a basic understanding to a proper level of understanding. All the basics are taught in the first year with proper laboratory facilities. The curriculum is updated every 4 years taking experts in the field as a reference so it is upto date. There is 1 mid semester exam and 1 end semester. Labs are continuously evaluated for 10 marks every lab
Internships Opportunities
Different companies which offered internship with stipend such as JP Morgan and Wells fargo with stipend of upto 90000 per month. A lot of companies like schnider electric take people for ppo with internship
Placement Experience
You become eligible for placements after 5th semester with things like ppo internship etc. Highest package was by microsoft given to 2 student 52 lakh each. 92% people are placed My plans after the degree are masters in a foriegn country.
Fees and Financial Aid
The first year fees is common for all electronics branches which is 335000. After this the 2nd year fees varies from 335000 for electronics and instrumentation to 502000. The total fees of electronics and instrumentation for 4 years is 1301000
Campus Life
Overall college campus life is amazing. Everything is available inside the campus in different stores. People are friendly so social life is very good. 1 tech fest held in october every year called tech tatva 1 entreprenuership summit held in jan every year called MES. 1 cultural fest held every year usually in march or february called revels
Hostel Facilities
There are many types of rooms triple sharing non ac common bathroom double sharing non ac common bathroom double sharing non ac attached bathroom double sharing ac attached bathroom single ac attached bathroom single ac common bathroom. The fees of each vary year to year. I paid 123000 for double non ac attached in first year and i paid 170000 for double ac attached in 2nd year. Mess fees is 56000 included in the hostel fee. Hostels are appropriately priced as compared to other colleges
Admission
Applied to ms ramaiah institute of technology. The reason for choosing this colege is because of family alumni and a very good campus with good exposure as compared to other colleges. Admission procedure starts by writing the met exam and then applying for counselling with your rank. I got into other coleges but there are no good hostels in bangalore so i chose this college
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is proper. All the faculty members are very approachable. Even the director himself is approachable. The best faculty is in the electronics and instrumentation department specifically Linear control theory professor. Exams are moderate to tough and relative grading system is there.
Night Life
Night life is very good in mit manipal. Gym is in a 7 storey building called marena which is a bit far. The library has 3 halls 2 individual study and 1 group study which close at 11 at night . Famous hangout spots is the student plaza which is a student hotspot and college is ver safe at night as there are security personnal everywhere
