Course Curriculum Overview

2

The semester length should be increased. Student didn't get enough time to study the whole semester clearly. Curriculum doesn't prepare students for real world applications or further academic pursuits. Exams come faster one by one. This should be changed.

Placement Experience

1

Placements are there but it is very less when compared to the number of students. Placements are very less Mainly for computer science students for the past 2 years. Placement includes an aptitude test and also an interview. Salary packages are very low. I wish to take mtech after completing this btech degree and after that apply for a job or to be placed from the college I am studying for mtech.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have to pay a tution fee of 35000 per year and also have other fees excluding tution fee. I have a merit seat in my college so fee is less compared to management seats and all. I have to pay tution fee of 35000, spcl fee of 4000, SAF of 1000, CGPC of 500, cape tech fest fee of 500, ktu arts and sports fee of 530 and insurance premium of 70. So I pay a total fee of 41600 per year. College have many categories like merit seat , mgt seat, NRI seat, tfw seats , and reserved seats for sc , st, iec and obch categories. Mgmt seat have a total fee of 71600 , NRI seat have a total fee of 106600, tfw seats have a fee of 6600, st/obc/obc h categories have a fee of 1600. Many scholorships are available we could apply if we need it. But scholarship amount will be very less compared to the fee.

Campus Life

3

Life at campus is very cool as we have enough freedom in our college. Programs are very less compared to other colleges. We have a tech fest every year and it is awesome. Everyone unites and make the program a better one. It includes robotic expos, vr, fashion shows, dance competitions , music competitions, autoshows, proshows etc.. Mainly this techfest is conducted in april-May month. We have arts fest also in the same time period. In arts we are able to show our talents and to get prizes for the good performances. Sports are there in our college. We have a physical education faculty. He tries the best to encourage students and make them participate in inter-college meets , state sports meet etc.. Sports competitions are also held in our college once in a year. College have many Instagram pages and when elwe search google we get enough information about the college.

Admission

I get this college as a merit seat. I had written the KEAM entrance exam and I got this college according to the rank I got in that entrance exam. We have to give some options of college for the allotment criteria. I choose Government Colleges first but I didn't get as my rank is less when compared to the ranks taken by the government college. Next I preferred government aided colleges and I placed my college as the first option as it is under cape , and I could be a day scholar as this is of less distance from my home. I didn't face any interviews or anything at the time of admission as I got a merit seat.

Faculty

3

I chose this course because I like to become an engineer. When I look on to streams I get font of with computer science and Engineering as it has many job opportunities nowadays. The academic Callender of University is not good. We didn't get enough time to complete a semester. After completing a semester, the next one comes soon and the exam of next one comes and the semester ends within 2-3 months. So it is very hard to cover all the syllabus with this short time period. In our college, faculties are very good as they are well educated and sincere in teaching. Many of them completed PhD. They teach each and everything clearly but time is not enough to teach everything clearly and completely. So they skip many portions and teach us only the important ones. When a semester starts, the first internal exam comes soon then second internal and after two weeks or something semester exam will also comes. So very difficult to study the subjects.

Night Life

1

Life on campus is peaceful and serene, with a strong emphasis on academic excellence and personal development. While we may not have a vibrant nightlife scene, our students enjoy a range of activities and events during the day and early evening, from club meetings and cultural events to sports and recreational activities. Our campus is a place where students can focus on their studies, build meaningful relationships, and grow as individuals in a supportive and inclusive community.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

I chose this course because the curriculum covers key subjects like Python, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Deep Learning right from the early semesters. The inclusion of electives such as IoT, Cloud Computing, and NLP made it future-relevant and versatile.

Placements are really good. Since college is related to ISRO maximum students with cgpa above than 7 are elligible for ISRO interviews and are selected based on their performance. Apart from ISRO many campanies like Texas Instruments, UTS, Mercedez , also come here for recruuitment. Many also opt for M.tech and MBA after graduation

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Remarks:

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. The most special thing about the college is those memorable friendships with the faculties whos understand students very well.
