Course Curriculum Overview

2

Courses aren't such relevant but still if you manage to learn new skills yourself you can get easily placed. Make sure you don't get too much back papers. Valuations aren't as such good if you are confident enough then ask for answer script then revaluation, if you give revaluation directly chances are you get same results.

Placement Experience

1.5

From 7th semester you are eligible to go for placements. You can also opt for internship in 8th semester and skip offline classes and main project but would need to write pass other papers while on intership. (CRITERIA 6 CGPA AND NO BACKLOGS)

Fees and Financial Aid

For merit:- Tution fee =35000 Establishment and college special fee= 4000 Student activity fund = 1000 Career Guidance and Training Fund = 500 CAPE State level techno-cultural fest = 500 University arts and sports fee = 530 For Management Seats :- Tution fee is 65000 For NRI seats :- Tution fee is 100000 For TFW,SC/ST,OBC H there is no tution fee. All other funds remain same for all categories. SC/ST OBC H don't need to pay for establishment and college special fee and student activity fund.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus Life is good but lack of students in coming years can affect the campus life. Also a new nursing course have also started in the college which can bring more students and help in increasing popularity of college and regain some momentum.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

There are only PGs for BOYS with food and accommodation. Meal quality are average but hostel life adds better memories to your overall campus experience. Girls have hostel by college which have a good meal routine but still reviews of food are average.

Admission

You can get into this college easily if you get passed in KEAM examination. There aren't much students right now so you can get merit seat easily. Mechanical and Electrical Electronics branches are at verge of shutting down due to lack of students.

Faculty

4

Some Faculties are well qualified and teaches very well. You'll get good internals if you score good marks at Series exams which is out of 50. Then semester exam you'll need to score more than 40 marks out of hundred to pass if you have 35+ internal out of 50 if less your passing mark also increases. College focuses on KTU based syllabus.

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
