The college's climate is very student friendly as we get normal heat during the day and cold ie fog at night
The college's student atmosphere is great and very friendly
Campus life and quality of social interation is great as the college conducts events like tech fest where students from across the state are welcome

Dislikes

The faculty has good teaching experience but is very strict
The college's infrastructure is average but considering the fact that it is under cape govt it seems okey
The college's canteen and mess is average

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is up to date in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. The curriculum prepared us further for world applications like cloud computing ,development , cybersecurity etc. the exams happen at the end of each semester with the difficulty level is moderate to hard

Internships Opportunities

Many companies recruit students in the final semister for internship with and without stipend.They are given projects and other tasks which one completion makes them stand out from other colleges students

Placement Experience

The students become eligible for placement from 7th semister onwards. Many companies like ust,tcs,qspider etc visited and many offers were made.the average package is 3 lpa .the percentage of students getting placed is 60 %

Fees and Financial Aid

The detailed fees structure include 45000 for every year including tution fee ,lab fee and other charges.there are many scholarships which vary from 10000-25000 for the students to avail like MCM , mk nainar etc

Campus Life

The college conducts various events like techfest , arts fest, etc the techfest usually happens in the month of April and arts fest usually happens in the month of february-march.The library is quite resourcefull with many kinds of books and journals being readily available in market

Hostel Facilities

The college provides hostel facilities for girls and College supervised private hostels for boys .The meal quality is good compared to other hostels. The registration process for hostel is fast and the affordability is goood

Admission

I applied to this college because it was under the cape govt and not any other privately owned universities. Before here I recieved confirmed admission from Carmel college of engineering ,royal College of engineering, ilahia college of engineering etc. The admission process is mostly through KEAM and students can take seat from management also

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is 8:1. The faculty is very strict but they tend to help us if we approach them with any issues the faculty of mechanical department and computers science department are the best here .there are 2 internal exams and a final semister exam in every semister

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Life in PEC

I get this college as a merit seat. I had written the KEAM entrance exam and I got this college according to the rank I got in that entrance exam. We have to give some options of college for the allotment criteria. I choose Government Colleges first but I didn't get as my rank is less when compared to the ranks taken by the government college. Next I preferred government aided colleges and I placed my college as the first option as it is under cape , and I could be a day scholar as this is of less distance from my home.
