Compared to other Government Medical College Hospitals we have got a very good hostel facilities. Our hostels were newly build 2 years back We have got good water and electricity facilities. Rooms are cleanly maintained.

Admission

I applied for other colleges like Government medical college Trivandrum, Kottayam etc but I couldn't make it to these colleges because of limited seats and many candidates scored high in neet ug, making it difficult to secure a seat in other colleges.

Faculty

4

Our college has a team of dedicated faculty members including Head of department, assistant professors, associate professors etc My most favourite faculties are Anly sir and Jeena mam they both helped me a lot during my first year. Not only them there are many more who are very dedicated and teaches us very well. First year : anatomy, physiology, biochemistry Second year : microbiology, pathology, pharmacology Third year: forensic, community medicine Fourth year: ENT, ophthalmology, pediatrics, surgery, medicine, OBG

Night Life

On campus: We don't have strict curfews in our hostel but first years have got curfews. We used to go and sit in our NSS garden after having dinner. But sometimes we face security problems also. And now security facilities are made strong.

Even though a bit tight and rushy, this is in fact the best curriculum provided and followed by all medical colleges in kerala. The frequency of exam is high and difficulty level is as same as that of KUHS. This provides relevant experience for the students to weite the university exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's always relevant to the content being taught by the teachers. They always use application based questions to prepare us for a real life situation as well. First aid training was also completed. Some of the teachers are very interactive while some not. Short exams are conducted on a weekly basis while internal exams are conducted every 2/3 months. Not that difficult but it isn't that easy either. Very strict checking, nothing is liberal.
