My College

I always wanted to be a doctor, so i chose this course. We are following CBME curriculum ie, competency based medical education.My suggestion is to give more emphasis to practcal sessions than theory sessions.

After 4 years of study once we clear the final year exam ,we eill have to do internship in the college . They provide a stipend of 27000. During intership period we will have to assist doctors and will have to attend minor cases which provide better exposure.

W have to give a tuition fee of Rs. 22500. The Mess fee is 3000 per month for general categoy and is free for sc/st category. Hostel fee is 13000 per annum.Union fees 5000 have to be paid. PTA fund 6000

There is annual sports meet and arts fest and the competition is between batches. We have an academic and a non academic library. The classrooms have projecor facilities.Our college offers good facilities for sports .

Goos Hostel facilities is one of the best part about the college. Rooms with attached batgrooms and common bathrooms are available. Hostel food is average.Hostel is a 9 floored building. Hostel staffs are also very friendly and helpful.

It was not my first choice. Still I'm happy here . The admission to the college is only through NEET exam which is an all india level exam. I was admitted ti the college through state merit.There is a total of 4 allotments.I got admitted gere in the 1st allotment.

There are good faculties who are really talented in teaching.Anatomy professor Anly sir is my favourite teacher here. The course is for 5 years and there is a total of 4 university exams which are quite tough.

We have a good night life here. I always hang out with friends at night mostly for having food. I dont say that the locality is very safe to roam around. My favourite night hangout place is Manjeri view point.
