Likes

College is having labs and workshops with all required efficient machines and equipments.Faculties are having amble exposure and knowledge about the field they are handling with.There is lack of time which is giving for self study .
Our college is having a vast alumni connection across different sectors and thereby a stong placement unit.They are providing us with amble job opportunities.
The course curriculum has been included many relevant topics but some times they may cause academic pressure to students.

Dislikes

Work pressure is the ultimate problem and lak of activity time for self learning.
Faculties are not friendly even before new students and not trying to develop skills.
Programmes are being arranged only after 4 30 pm.Hence some are struggling to utilise their leisure time .

Course Curriculum Overview

Couse curriculum have included only relevant and comprehensive topics in order to enhance our skills. It prepares us for real world applications or further academic pursuits.Sometimes exam are so much difficult to approach in nature.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 8640 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees is 8640rs. Admission fee is 22750 rs and exam registration fee 1000 per year. College provide scholarships like merit mean cum and some scholarships are given by IEI coordinators.For SC ST category students, admission fee is 13450 rs. Our college is collecting fee in per year basis.

Campus Life

Heatia is our technical fest which will be held once in a year. College is having amble accessibility of books and journal in order to smoothen our academic journey.They are so many doorways for students like IEEE,IEI,ISTE clubs to ehance our working skills and improve our experience.

Admission

For being enrolled in our college, we need to crack keam entrance exam and also secure high rank.I have only applied for this college because this college is having state rank 3 as per societal aspect.Being a student in this college is a proud thing for me

Faculty

The faculty students relationship is poor. Sometimes they are not even approachable for us.Sajeena mam, electronics faculty.She is putting maximum efforts for making herself understandable before us.All others are having an efficient performance .Exam questions are of three level: easy medium tough.

Night Life

Gym , cafeterias, libraries will be opened along with college time. In LH hostels , everyone should there within 6 pm.There is APJ park in our college to spend our leisure time on the lap of nature along with a swing.

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

Placement Experience:

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA.
