What Students Say

Likes

Good campus that is ,clean and green campus .Very good facilities for sports.
Great variety of students from different areas .
Hostels are great and well behaved staff in hostels

Dislikes

Courses are somewhat rushed and not taken care of properly
Most of teachers are teaching just for the sake of their job not very likely to help you more.
Campus is very big very difficult to navigate between classes.

Course Curriculum Overview

You can focus on your skills but not fully rely on teachers to teach them they barely cover anything.The curriculum overall focuses on highlighting the main pursuits not in great details.They can get better teachers for core subjects. There are exams every one or two months per semester of moderate difficulty.

Fees and Financial Aid

?192000 per semester for institutional fee ?60000 per semester for hostel fee ?22500 mess fee approx ?276000 including exam fees per semester or ?552000 per year for a btech student in kiit for general category.You get ?10000 per month if you score well in kiteee exams as scholarship!

Campus Life

There are many events every week and major events in span of 2-3 months . Libraries are pretty good and a lot of materials are available.Sports is very good with a lot of courts for every sport including paid coaching. A lot of groups to join via interviews.

Hostel Facilities

An ac if ac room is booked, an almirah, a pillow,a blanket, bed , curtains, study table, shelfs , a mirror, balcony varies with hostel, affordable, rentals can be found around Patia. Quality of food is okay in hostel but good in canteen available at all campus.

Hostel Fee: INR 82500 per year

Admission

I got confirmation from cet,vit,srm and choose kiit due to less distance from my hometown and better campus .I did get rejected from some colleges with very less mark difference and I couldn't wait for kiit's admission to be done so I joined it. You can join through kiteee or boards marks or jee marks and admission process is okay.

Faculty

Most of the faculty members are not that great but some of them teach with a responsibility to make you understand everything. The courses are not rushed. The faculty to students ratio is okayish if teachers like you they most likely pay attention to you.Exams are moderate not many students fail you can get good grades in less time. The courses curriculum is not that relavent.

Night Life

Intime varies every year like 7pm for 1st year, 8 pm for 2nd year and so on for hostels . Libraries are open all nights and are very comfy. Many places to hang out and a lot of restraunts and cafes and gyms all around the campus .

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.

Navigating KIIT : a comprehensive review of facilities and experiences
