I like my college

The course curriculum is very comprehensive. In computer science , there are various computer languages included.There are also additinal subjects to improve organizational behaviour and crative thinking. Its worth studying in this college.

You are eligible for internship from third year onwards. You are eligible for campus placements from 7th semester. You should have at least an average of 6 CGPA if you want to sit in college placements.

The fee structure in UIET is semesterwise. For first semester its 45420 Rs. and for 2nd semester its 41500 Rs. For 3rd semester its 39720 Rs. Like this the fees keeps decreasing every semester by few thousand rupees. For general and OBC category, the fees is same. But for SC, ST the fee is less. it is about 15-20 thousand less then the original. There are government scholarships like ONGC and PMS. You can also opt for private scholarships. ONGC provides 48000 rupees yearly. PMS provides 20000 rupees yearly.

Overall experience , I will say it was great. Students and proffesors are very interactive. There are lots of clubs related to education and co-curricular activities. The infrastucture is also very nice. The technologies provided in the lab are top notch. The student portal is also useful and very much interactive.

The hostel facility are very good. The mess food is good at a very normal price. There is facility for hot water in winters . Washing machine are also available in every hostel. Hostel prices are also very low. The hostel are very clean.

I choose this college because of the average package and because someone recommended it to me. The admission process is very simple. You have to register on HSTES site. Then select for the college and course you want to opt for. If you clear the cutoff then you will recieve an admission slip on the site. Then come to the college to submit fees and confirm addmission.

The faculty is very supportive. They are easy to interact with and listens all the problems and also tries to help the student. All the proffesors are P.Hd's and have great experience. The exams conducted are mainly 3 sessional and 1 final exam every semester. The marking scheme is like 70% based on the exam and 30% based on sessionals, assignment, attendance and behaviour. The difficulty of the exams are moderate.

There are lots of parks and gardens around the campus, most famous of them are Rose garden and Riverside park. There are museums also, where you can learn a lot about our culture. There are many restaurants around campus where you enjoy different type of foods.
