Course Curriculum Overview

I choose BCA because of interest in IT field, it gives students real world experience of this field. Though I would like more practical approach in this course and there are good amount of exams as well

Class Size: 4Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee structure is 45k per semester and 90k per year there are scholarship options available. There are caution fees of 5000rs which is refundable, there are admission fees of 15k which includes lab fee etc. There is student credit card available.

Campus Life

The campus is quite small and there won't be a good college life as shown in movies which have big campus. There are freshers and many functions, and social services like the national service scheme etc. there are projectors in every classroom to facilitate the process of learning. There are many competitive programs as well.

Admission

I applied to colleges like techno, eiilm etc. I got selected in bp poddar I choose this college because of the reputation and the reviews from the alumni. I got rejected in one college because not having enough rank.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is good there are enough teachers per students. The teachers kind and helpful. The faculty members most of them are well and good, though some need tranning and need to do better as per my opinion.

Night Life

As the college is situated in the heart of Salt lake Sector V, there are many places to hangout and chill. There is a cafeteria in the college campus as well and as well there are outside of the college. The locality is safe and secure to roam at night.

About my college

Remarks:

We have got good faculties. The teachers are very much friendly and helpful. Besides class one can get teachers guidance anytime. They help us with the upcoming trends. The environment is really good. The seniors are very nice and helpful. It has got two basketball court two football grounds.

I appeared for an entrance exam and I got a seat for CSE (data science) course at Techno International New Town. But I filled upgradation form and went for round 2. And I got a seat for Information Technology course at B. P. Poddar Institute of Management and Technology. So I took admission in this college rather than taking risks of going to round 3. At our college students can get admission by giving entrance exams like JEE Mains and WBJEE. Cutoffs for different courses vary every year.
