Amity ka saach

The curriculum is vast but according to the course it needs to be more evolved and included with more subjects regarding latest things . The fundamental basics are very elaborated in each subjects. There are more about 12-14 subjects each semester and one foreign business language compulsory. And many environmental awareness, ngo and human values course are also there .

Internship opportunities are given as are ntcc projects in name summer internship program . The college differentiated on cgpa basis and previous projects submitted and score cards . The college do offers opportunities to each and every student.

The placement of the college is nice , it is limited to people with talent above the scale of average . If not the campus placements, this industry caters people with exceptional talent in journalism, styling , designing etc . Free lancing can be done as well . There are many sectors in which .

The fee structure is semwise biferciated , per semester fees is 97,500 and scholarship is given percent wise on different levels Above 95 - 100 scholarship 90-95 - 80 percent scholarship 85-90 - 50 percent 80-85 - 20/ 30 percent scholarship To avail this scholarship every year , you should maintain your attendance and cgpa per semester

The infrastructure is really well of the college, like the departmental set up of each course is really nice . For the club activities on university level , I joined the university dance crew named inertia, i participated in many cultural activities and fest of the college. Like AYF , and others .

The hostel of Amity noida is divided into ac and non AC , i will always prefer ac hostel because of the temperature and good crowd as well . And pj area near the college is okayishh , but the area is not very nice , the pj s on the outer are very expensive but the pj s in inner area are clumsy . I stay in a rented flat in a near by society. It is good and peaceful

I applied Amity because of unavailability of fashion colleges in my affordable range , the fashion department of the Amity University is nice but being a department in university and not only a fashion centric college. It needs to evelove a bit but overall fashion presence in the industry is nice .

Faculties are all highly qualified. Some are good and cooperative and some ain't. Each subject is of 100 marks 50 external, 45 internal and 5 for attendance on percent wise . Faculties are never lieant in internal marks . Different integrated projects and tests are introduced for internal marks

I had to go through a written and design test and after that personal interview. The test has a series of MCQ question and than a design test . The personal interview was with the departmental facilities only . They asked questions like - why we choose Amity , my 12 class stream and why I choose fashion and this stream .

The night life is not much of Amity University, there are yearly two main fests of university. The concerts and artists appearance us limited to time of fest and freshers only , the campus has all the availablity of all food joints and everything other is available on the campus but restrictions do make hostelers not much entertaining , although some dj are also organised but with time bound .
