- The people of this college are very helpful, the boys to girls ratio is 71:29
- The teachers is also very nice in the college as they are helpful and teaches well
- many workshops happens in the college in which various well known speaker comes so people who are confused with their career can get help after sitting and listening to their workshops.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of the college is poor, and also the college is very small
- The societies in the college does a very strict recruitment because of which some people who were/are interested do not get the chance to work for them.
- Some of the staff of the admin office sometimes are rude and are often do not help in the issue that the student is facing
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum in this college is pretty above average and we get to know a lot about businesses, laws used for running a business and also accounting in this course. Some subject teachers teaches the subject very nicely using real life examples that it becomes easy for the students to understand that concept. The timings of the exam are as per decided by the Delhi University and difficulty levels differ according to the subjects and courses.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are given to the people who are in the placement cell or the finance society of the college as internship opportunities are posted to them. The average time of the internship is about 3 months and stipend is about 2000-5000.
Placement Experience
Campus placement in my college is pretty average as only some people get selected while companies come to recruit student who are in their final year. The average package offered to the students in here is around 4,00,000 to 5,00,000 and the highest package anyone has got is about 10,00,000. Meanwhile some people do not go for the campus recruitment as they want to pursue higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
the fee structure of my course i.e. B.Com Hons. was around 9600 in the first year and now as i am in 2nd year it has increased to 10,500 and it will surely increase in the 3rd year also, so it will be around Rs 31000 fees for the full course. therefore, the fees is surely increasing with increase in time. There is no scholarship in the college as it comes under CUET exam
Campus Life
The infrastructure of the college is not so good as the college is pretty small as compared to other colleges. Every type of book is available in the library of the college and also there are many societies in the college related to various interests like finance club, commerce club, dance club etc. The college also have different sports team which go to different colleges to compete.
Admission
I have applied to various other colleges in DU like SRCC, Hansraj but didn't get admission in that college because my marks were not according to the cut off of the university. I applied in Banaras Hindu University also but decided to not go to that as it is very far away from my home and also I considered DU as a better option than BHU. This College is also not that far from my home and requires less travel time so I chose this college. In order to get in this college one must clear CUET exam and then fill the form of DU through csas portal and fill this college while filling the preference list.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is very good but sometimes the officials of the admin office are not so good for the students and often do not help them with the issues that they are facing. The teachers are helpful in the college and have a great understading of their subject and the teachers. There are some teachers who takes the test time to time of the students so that they learn that subject thoroughly. the faculty of BCom hons in my opinion is very good.
Night Life
There is as such no night life in the college, as i have listened from the people of the evening batch in the college. Meawhile during the fest season it is pretty good as there is a good crowd in the college and is also very fun as different bands and singers come to perform.
