Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course is very relevant to the degree but not so much to the industry. Sometimes we are taught outdated softwares that are not going to be of any use in the future, but again they help us build our basics The exams get difficult each sem and the course curriculum and structure are shared from the beginning of the semester, preparing us for the same.

Internships Opportunities

3

Internships are available on a large scale in our college. Companies even come to club events and recruit students they like on spot. The internship process starts in the 6th sem after the 5th sem papers. Projects and research papers we work on during the course of our degree prove valuable while applying for internships Focusing on DSA is also very important for the internship process. The teachers are very helpful during the internship process.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are good for my degree. Almost 80% of the people get placed through college itself and the average package is around 7-8 lakhs. Companies that visit are Accenture , Microsoft , Worqhat etc I want to work for a year before I apply for higher studies

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for my course is 3.2 lakhs and a extra 4000-5000 for exam fees every year. This fee includes development fee close to 32-35k and all other expenses The fees for other courses varies from 2lakh to 3.2 lakhs. 1st year students are eligible for scholarship on the basis of their entrance exam marks and for the rest of the years students with high cgpa can apply for scholarship.

Campus Life

4

The overall campus life is good if you have friends , otherwise you could get lost between the masses. The college is situated in the city centre hence maintaining a good social life is easy. There are many clubs in my college for a variety of different domains and u can apply to any depending on your interests Clubs include both technical and non technical clubs

Admission

I chose this college because I know many alumni's form this college and I liked its course structure. I applied to SIT Pune as well but the college life outside the campus was minimal and the course was a little new hence did not go for that college. There are 3 ways you can apply to MIT. JEE marks , MHCET marks and MIT entrance. The criteria for admission changes every year

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio is roughly 1:100, but the faculty is very approachable and supportive. The best faculty I've had has been Trupti Bhaskar ma'am. The faculty has great knowledge abt their respective domains. We have 2 sems per year. Each sem has a continuous assement structure. Students are evaluated every lab and class tests and performed regularly Externals are called during practical week to evaluate our projects

Night Life

5

The night life around the campus is exhilarating. All the food shops are open until late. The campus is open until 10 pm. Community cafe , Durga cafe , lassi wassi are a few places where people hangout after college to relax. It is very safe around campus at night due to its locality in a very family friendly neighbourhood

Other Applied Colleges

Symbiosis Institute of Technology - [SIT] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Because it was in the outskirts of Pune and MIT is better

7th semester or 4th year makes you eligible for internships and placements. NVIDIA visits our college often i don't know much about the placements as im only in first year but yes the eligibility for the placement is over CGPA which eliminates a lot of students during the placements nearly ~75% of the students get placed (including off and in campus) the other 20% pursue higher studies the other 5% go for start ups

Campus placement has good rate. Most of the students passing out get in-campus placements and some of them go abroad for higher education. The average package here is around 700000 to 800000. Very much reliable in placement perspective.
