Likes

Teachers are very friendly and corporative
The campus is full of greenary and taken care of the plants.
The admistrative structure is very helpful

Dislikes

The canteen food not so good but very pricey
Washroom are not so cleaned or well maintained
Benches int he classroom are not too strong

Course Curriculum Overview

Exams are after every 5-6 months . The teachers provide ample of notes and guidance before exams. They even provide knowledge of outer world and commerce related topics for general knowledge . I'm very much happy to choose my course and fulfilling my degree without any problem

Class Size: 1175Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

It's an government college and very much affordable. The courses few depends on the courses and subjects you are choosing . I'm a B.Com Hons student and I had to give 6500/- for semester 1 and 8375/- for semester 2.

Campus Life

Our union club members are amazing and helpful. We do have a social program once a year which is grand and many well-known artists are invited as guests. The library of our college contents alot of old and new knowledge books which can be helpful.

Admission

I did try to many other colleges but couldn't make it due to my average results. But my college gave me chance for my further studies. I had to submit my school certificates and many more documents to my college website for my selection .

Faculty

The faculty of this college are amazing. The lectures and professors are amazing and friendly. But some of the professors are not too corporative even prefers to scold to make the works done. Overall the exam system is amazing. We have MCQ exams on OMR sheets and the brought questions exam are on different dates to prepare well for the exam.

Night Life

There is big campus ground behind the college which is definitely a college property for students. We often spend time there chatting and enjoying. Many small malls are located around our college. There is a tea shop a bit away from our college which makes amazing tea with a low rate. Must try thing.

Remarks:

I have chosen the college because of its reputation over years,this college has everything which a student look for,and this is the best college for commerce in our district Birbhum. The college is also not so far from my hometown, and the schedule or the timetable for the college was so comfortable, it was from 7am to 11am.so one can easily travel regularly. I regularly travelled for almost two and half hours for attending my lectures in college. The only disadvantage of my college was as it was a government college so noone takes it seriously neither college authority nor students.

Decent professors with good environment

Remarks:

Decent college to study at an affordable fee structure. Any middle class or poor category student can afford to study in the college quite easily I don't regret being a student of the college at all.

A Institute in danger of loosing it's heritage.

Remarks:

First of all above everything our college is providing education at very much low cost compared to other institutes, even other government funded colleges. But there's a whole lot to improve in every department starting from Infrastructure, Extracurriculars,food, social activities and etc. Our college attracts most of the students from remote and sub-urban locations, so education for all those people are like blessings for life.

The Goenka college

Remarks:

This college is good but has many loopholes in the management. Firstly classes are not taken regularly by the professors. You have to complete your syllabus on your own don't remain depending on the professors they gonna just discharge their duty. Basically in the morning section teachers never come properly. Also, the hipe that Goenka provides very good placement is also not true to that extent its just average or so before getting into the college think twice.
