What Students Say
Likes
- The psychology stuff, the psychology department is very well organised
- The campus is huge and green with a lake in it
- The college is walking distance from metro
Dislikes
- The dresscode rule is something I highly dislike
- The non teaching staff at times can be very rude
- The bathroom can really use reconstruction
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum isnt something that got me to take admission in the college but the course is very interesting and the faculty is really nice. In terms of preparing us for the real world the curriculum is actually set out to solve real world problems. They can improve in teaching methods by taking more tests, conducting more experiments and checking up weather students actually understood the concepts
Fees and Financial Aid
I'm doing ba (psychology) my first year fees was 6000 (aided) there is an unaided section which is not aided by the government, the fees is 23000/- the second year fees was 8000/- and unaided fees must be around 23000/- and in the third year if you choose to major in psychology the fees is 40000/- and if you choose double majors the fees will under 10000/-
Campus Life
The campus of bhavans is green and beautiful there's a beautiful looking lake. Theres a botanic garden there is sanctuary and a huge playground. They have a fest for all the students called O2. They have NCC NSS and other various groups were student can learn and grow
Admission
I choose bhavans college because I was a student in junior College as well which would make it very easy for me to get in, in the degree college. I did not apply to any other college as far as rejection goes because this college was the college that I wanted to go to since I had attended my junior college here
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is around 1:24 right now when I am in the third year. My fees is 40000. There are 6 semesters from the year 1 to 3. Each semester has a internal exam of 40 marks and an external exam of 60 marks.
Night Life
There is no night life as such because the degree college students prefer coming from closer distance rather than coming from places far from home. So the college does not provide any kind of cafeteria's or anything else in the night time.
