Entrance Preview

GATE seriously speaking i never had any goal it so happened that one night my friends forced me for taking up this examination and we all nailed it just that my choice of staying in touch with friends in the same city and same class forced me to leave iit roorkee & iit kharagpur also i was told that this college was the best in asia for the architecture and planning students admission process has the gate score, portfolio and interview.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is divided into 4 semester of 6 months each first semester is common for all the students of various fields and the rest three semester is your specialization time in separate departments you can always check on the electives in their website.

It holds an annual fest around december and it big all students can take their role in this fest apart from these you have dj nights and grand celebrations.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Thirty thousand per year for college study there are study tours where we need to spend a bit the hostel accomodation will cost you a mess fess of 1500 per month and stay 10000 per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes at my time rs 8000/-per month scholarship was provided if you enter by cracking gate examination now maybe it 12k to 16k.

Hostel Facilities

Nice hostel with courtyard and bad mess food the hostel is a bit far from the campus say 15 min by auto and 30 mins by bus.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure

Exams are strict and if you fail in two of the seven or eight subjects you will be getting a year loss.

Faculty

The faculty is good, infact excellent at our time you can always be asuured of gettng good knowledge, i say practical one as visiting faculty includes many learned and experience man from this field.

My understanding about SPA Delhi

Placement Experience:

In the case of transportation planning, 95% of placement offers are available. Some of them got placed by their finds, some people got placed by their internships. So internships during semester breaks are very much important. Faculties will help us to get placed.

Remarks:

Visiting faculties are Soo good and they are good aged people till 60 years and have very good in-depth knowledge and experience in the practical field which is a plus point. Some departments are very good like transport having good staffs, but people are supposed to work beyond their limit. Some departments are too chill.

Remarks:

The school is run by the Govt. of India directly under them and hence the management is good and strict and maintain good quality education and reputation.

I was preparing for architecture and had made it to reputed colleges like CEPT, NITs, JMI, and CET. Paralley i got B.Plan at SPA too. Out of curiosity, i had went through the syllabus and it captivated me more than what i was preparing for. Fore getting into SPA, you'll have to give JEE-II which will be conducted alongside JEE. SPA DELHI REVIEW

Overall, there are lots of negative remarks on SPA DELHI. They do not even provide basic facilities for the fees they take. Even what little facilities that exists are very poorly maintained. The lifts does not work more often than not, the coolers for drinking water are outdated and filters unchanged, fire extinguishers outdated, poor parking facilities, no grounds for sports related activities, no air conditioners in the classroom for the unbearable Delhi heat, very poor provision of funds, non-existent placement cells, and the lists goes on....Read More
