The school is run by the Govt. of India directly under them and hence the management is good and strict and maintain good quality education and reputation.

It was based on merit based on marks scored in Bachelor degree and if GATE score is there will be provided with scholarship Interview was there based on subject opted and course studied and also project work done and questions were asked on the subject and place of study undertaken.

The course when we studies was three semester master program and elective was on housing itself . The third semester was almost fully occupied with project work and have to work and submit and face jurie for the same. The first two semesters were having design studios which was group work and subject oriented on planning.

Rs.2000 per month for three semesters and a contigency grant of Rs. 8000 in total the project work is 6 months and have to choose on our won with guidance from faculty and finish in 4 months.

As such the placement is not there for masters degree as mostly students will find on their own and sometimes research associate post are offered for interested students after completing post graduation.

The events are annual day, dushera, sports meet, deepavali, onam, holi, durga pooja, convocation etc. Sometimes tours are also there and each semester study tour are there.

The fee structure is feasible and very nominal the details are usually put well in advance of the year in the school website for the whole course of study.

GATE scholarship and also UGC scholarship are given to students having enough score in any one of them.

Campus is safe and much friendly and all activities are celebrated students are always friendly and no mis understand takes place the gender ratios is almost 2:1 for boys and girls and all student cant get hostel rooms and only students far away from institution are normally alloted hostel rooms.

Hostels are normally sharing type for two persons in a room and food are also ok and one night is normally no mess and mess fee and hostel fee are also so economical that one cant find so much less anywhere.

The alumni is also very efficiently functioning and all students are requested to join alumni either at school or by online and get updated and contacts with each other.

The exams are conducted by the school itself as the school is a deemed university and the exams will be announced well in advance and dates are normally not altered unless some emergency is there the exams are with study leave before start and normally tw

The faculty were doctorate degree holders and master degree holders and visiting faculties were also engaged based on the subjects the quality is of high and knowledgeable persons were always engaged in subjects.
