Likes

Brand name: so hansraj college, everyone knows and a big flex when you can say a lot of famous and successful people are graduated from here and when one of those people are the one and one shahrukh khan
Faculty: too supporting and friendly faculty
Competition: this is where I can atleast get a little competition

Dislikes

Fake people: why do they always try to fake themself, I mean I am not against someone faking it, but it should not look at your face, lol
Old infrastructure: college got a beautiful infrastructure but it needs some good rework
Study: who goes to college for studies????😩

Course Curriculum Overview

Well in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness, course doesn't really give anything which we can adapt or use in real life but all we get is some book knowledge, but this is how whole education system is working in all colleges, isn't it?

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 21000 per year

Placement Experience

A lot of companies come for the final year students to offer them a lot of roles, some of the companies are ey, Genpact, ibm. There are more than 50 companies (or even more) comes for placement of multiple students)

Fees and Financial Aid

Total amount I paid for my graduation is: first year - 19000 Second year - 20000 Third year - 21000 People with reservation can avail scholarship to get some leaverage in this fee but others have to pay full fee.

Campus Life

Overall experience with college was good, but with people I can't say that, I can sense when people try to fake themself and I prefer to keep my distance with such people, and guess what, everyone in college want to present them what they are not.

Admission

Because it is one of the best college I can get with my marks(93%) And it was the first college I applied and I got selected for it(yeah I am kinda lucky for it) Even though there was some issue was arising with my admission and I got multiple calls from college to help me with that so my admission didn't get cancelled.

Faculty

Faculty is very supportive, best of their field in knowledge with no doubt... Every semester give 4 or 5 exams every sex months Marks are calculated after adding up both theory and internal marks Final marks gets converter into grades which represents on our result

Night Life

Night life, nah, I don't know what are you talking about lol, we are not allowed to leave our house after 9pm without a valid reason (I am a boy and rules are same for all) So never explored the night life of the college.

Yes our college provides placements to the student and the students who are in their final semester(6 semester) are eligible for the placement. The companies which comes to college are Kpmg, dillote, Ey, bain and company etc. The average package is around 9 lakh and the highest package is 36.5 lakh.

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd semester become eligible for campus placements. Companies like pwc, EY, deloitte has visited our campus and offered packages according to the competency of student. 35-40% people do get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to move abroad and pursue ACCA.

Hansraj college- A blessing

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is really relevant and comprehensive. For eg in bcom we study business law, company law, Human Resources management, marketing, financial and corporate accounting, finance, busines maths, stats, income tax, cost accounting, economics as ge so all these are really great well structureda and do have real life practical applications therefore i think my course is really very well aligned and comprehensive in terms of the business world.

The placements of hansraj college are the most talked about thing. Almost 80% students get placed each year with average package being 7-8 lpa and highest going upto 25lpa, which easily beats all undergraduate colleges of india. Hansraj College: A 3 Dimensional Review

7The college that I'm currently studying in is the best for my course. It had always been on my top preference. The NIRF Ranking of Hansraj college is 3, which the other two colleges not offering my course. So Hansraj had always been my first preference. I had applied in other colleges as well which had a lower preference, however i got my first preference in the first round of counselling so i did not really get a rejection from other colleges. The reason is kept Hansraj on my first preference was it's NIRF ranking over the years compared to the other colleges offering the same course. The admission process is quite simple. First of all, you have to write the CUET exam, following which apply in DU via the CSAS portal. After that the university allots you a college based on your course and college preference that you have to submit. So it is very important that you make the preference list wisely in order to get a good college in addition to scoring good in the CUET exam. The cut off for certain courses like economics, bcom and physics are quite high but for other courses they are pretty much achievable....Read More

For all colleges of the Delhi University, applicants are accessed on the basis of the Common University Enteance Test, the CUET.
