What Students Say

Likes

The faculty here is good and the teach ooers connect perfectly with every student perfectly
The infrastructure here is still in the development phase and the campus is good
The seniors are also very friendly and there is no case of ragging here

Dislikes

The attendance policy and the restriction to join only 2 society
The time table is too hectic and the students get drained.
The campus is not too big. And we can't explore much

As there are not many colleges in University of Delhi that provides bachelor of science honours in statistics but this college provides this course and the course is also demanding so I choose this course

Class Size: 67Course Fees: INR 25500 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships offers are available for the students when they enter their 2nd year and companies like Mahindra,Apollo offer internships to students and help them improve their skills so that it can help them later

Placement Experience

The highest package here is about 13lakh. The average package seems to be around 5LPA. There is also a dedicated placement cell that helps students to get better placement and get them connected with the companies that are visiting.

Fees and Financial Aid

For my course the fees is ?25500 yearly and few days earlier an amount of ?820 additionally as it was informed that the fees has been increased by the college. There is no fees deduction for any caste. I too beling to OBC(NCL) but I paid the same fees as the general caste student paid

Campus Life

The infrastructure here is still in its development phase. The campus area is also not too big. But the good part is there are many societies is this college that one can join and can improve themselves in every field

Admission

There are not much colleges that provides statistics course and the course cut off here is relatively low than other colleges. One must give the cuet and score 500+/800(general student) to get in this course. Other course requires other scores

Faculty

The faculty here is good and the ratio is like for 50-60 students there is one teacher per subject. The classes in the main building are equipped with air conditioners and well maintained and the Principal Is also good

Night Life

There is no such night life around this campus because there is hostel in this college. Students either live in pg or in flats and not seems to be much connected with each other they just mind there own business

Hansraj College: A 3 Dimensional Review

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of Hansraj College is quite active. You are eligible to sit for campus placement offers from 5th semester onwards. Companies like Deloitte, capgemini arw frequent recruiters for several posts and positions. The highest offered package is somewhere around 22000 with the average being at 700000-800000. Not all students get placed on campus, however thr hands on training and learning makes you industry ready, making you eligible amd worthy to apply for off campus placement opportunities. Many students prefer not to sit for campus placements and rather opt for higher studies after graduation. I plan to do the same after getting my undergraduate degree.

Life in RAMJAS

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cource curriculum is highly relevant. It covers fundamental and advanced concepts of zoology , which was the main reason I choose this course. Subjects like human physiology, biochemistry, biomolecules, comparative anatomy of vertebrates, animal behaviour, ...etc. are highly interested and align with my interest. Practical components help in developing and understanding concepts more clearly. However, real world applications is limited. Curriculum prepare students well for further academics for PG or other competitive exams. Exam system is conducted at regular intervals with Internal assessment and semester end. Timings are appropriate . Difficulty level is moderate to high.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics at Hindu College, the curriculum follows the latest DU UGCF?2022 structure, so it covers both strong theory and some modern applications. The main reason to choose this course is the depth in core areas like Calculus, Algebra, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Probability, which builds a very solid base for higher studies like M.Sc, data science or research. There are six semesters with continuous internal assessment plus end?semester exams, so students study regularly instead of only before finals. Exams are usually moderate to difficult because questions are concept?based, but the pattern is fair and gives weightage to assignments, tutorials and attendance. This college isn't what I chose first of all. It's based on nta's allocation system in accordance to your cuet scores. The other colleges like srcc might outperform my College in terms of sheer placements and exposure to real world. No there's no rejection system under cuet.
