Course Curriculum Overview

4

The odd sem ends before the Christmas period and the even sem ends before the second week of June. The first minor test is conducted after 1month of commncement of classes and the second minor test is conducted again after one month and the end sem after one month. After the even sem, the college provides us with internships for one month or more during the summer holidays and more. The topics on which we Ba llb students are being taught are not accoridng to the syllabus of other colleges which means they are not the topics which we need to study now, they need to prepare the syllabus according to the students needs.

Internships Opportunities

5

The companies associated with the Ambuja group provide us with internshps in various fields. Be the internships paid or unpaid but it grooms every students from base and prepare us for future challenges and provides us with knowledge outside the book.

Placement Experience

4

Every course enjoys placement facilitis from this university except the law department since the law students need to clear the All India Bar Examination in order to get the license to practice in courts. The course subjects as well as the teachers prepares us for these kind of AIBE or Judiciary exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

We need to pay 44,000 for each semester for our Ba llb course including all tuition fees, library charges, management, etc. The administration fee is seperate which is 70,000. The college provide us with ample number of scholarships which one can apply to according to their marks in their privious course or boards. One need to pass in all subjects in order to get continue the scholarship.

Campus Life

5

The annual fest which is Impulse is held probably around March to April keeping in mind our exam schedule. There are various clubs which involves with ample activities one has interest in such as Dance club, literary club, Sports club, etc. The clubs are runned by students along with mentors who all are faculties and they organise varous cultural events inside the campus or prepare for competition in other colleges. The library has as many books one needs for their course study as well as other books and the library is spacious and fully air-conditioned enabling students to study there quietly. The classrooms are not ai-conditioned except the labs, they are ventilated but the washrooms provided in all the buildings are not maintained except the Administrative building,

Admission

I applied of Calcutta University law colleges but the admission process was too slow and i was not sure whether i will get into it or not. I went for the private university then as i saw the environment was too eco-friend as well as pet friendly which enables a nice grooming for one student. I heard the faculties were too friendly and helpful and i did not hear wrong though. One needs to score above 50% in order to get into this college and there is not exam for admission process is held here. The students may apply for scholarships or not and after the payment of the admission fees and the course fee one can start with the classes.

Faculty

5

The number of the faculties in this university is enough to maintain every student and will be properly taken care of. Every faculty is friendly and cooperative, helps every student with great care especially the english department, the law department and the CSE department faculties. The university conducts two minor tests and one end sem for each semesters, the minor tests are of 25marks and the end sem is of 50marks. Almost every students clear the exams except few. The course curriculum is student friendly as they keep in mind the holidays.

The course curriculum was relevant and covered the fundamental concepts, but it could benefit from more practical learning and industry exposure. Exams were conducted regularly, and the difficulty level was moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always intrested in societal issues and how to deal with the social demons and that why i choose law as my course subjects The course teaches you the tmrules towards the course of society. It teachers us every nooks and cracks of the society and how to deal with them The course will teach you the bookish values and is completely oblivious towards the real life outside the books the practical is different when it comes to working in courts. There are internships but until you enter into the world of law and practice on your own you won't get a grasp of any understanding One year ending exams with 2 practical papers and the difficulty level depends on the depth of the student

Course Curriculum Overview:

Law opens the door to several job prospects and my dream as a child to be a part of the judiciary has influenced me to choose the course. The curriculum prepares definitely prepares me for higher legal studies and have a strong foundation in legal knowledge. SNU needs to improve the quality of faculty they have and there's a long way to improvement. End semester exams are held over a period of every 4-5 months, they conduct MSA in between each semester. The set the papers really tough.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Law as a course has developed throughout the years and there are only a few shortcomings in the studying aspect of it. Law, in a broad sense, can be applied to almost each and every problems that citizens of India face, be it corporate law, criminal, civil law. In an even broader sense, there is Constitutional law. A major fault in the teaching and course is the excessive teaching of landmark judgements and lesser number of moot courts which in practice might land young lawyers in trouble coming from the judiciary since they're just too much aware of different landmark judgements but not the cases/context behind it. Mainly, four exams are held which concern the actual marks- Internals and Externals. First internal and external is typically held on January or February and Second internal and external during July or August.

I always wanted to pursue law so I chose this course. Government college provides the best faculty and my college takes regular students to attend various seminars in WBNUJS or any such seminar Our College have LLM-completed teachers, some are PHD holder as well. The exam happens every six months. It's easy to pass only if you study properly but CU check copies strictly, it's hard to get more than 90.
